We hired George to 2nd skim a number of ceilings in our property, which soon turned into a few more and some walls as well after we impressed with the first day.He gave a service that 2 previous plasterers failed to deliver. His work was far superior, the attention to detail far outweighed others. He actually bothered to polish the plaster, unlike the previous chap, and got OCD with the corners and edges - which we loved!He's put our house renovation back on track, and we are finally happy the artex is actually covered, and the ceilings are flat. Great company to deal with, communication was good. They arrive on time and just got on with the job. I did supply coffee and cake. The job came in on time and on budget - very reasonably priced. George, again, has just completed some impeccable work in our particularly challenging property. We first met him in 2019 when taking on an 1800's property for some lime work and ceiling skimming, in both the living room and dining room and he stood out from his competitors. We did not hesitate to call him back for a cupboard, stairwell, cellar and ceiling job this time around, which I believe would intimidate most.Over the past two years, he has kept in touch and visited us multiple times to offer invaluable advice during construction processes which have not only remained consistent with my wife and I's vision, but with the greatest consideration and sympathy to the age of the property.His knowledge of historic construction and techniques involved in heritage restorations is a force to be reckoned with and he articulates this well to those, which is most, with less of an understanding.Aside from his clear talent with his trade, he is a delightful and trustworthy character to be around, whom also, is always a big hit with the family dog (!) It's no surprise to see that his reputation and diary are rapidly growing. We will not hesitate to call him back for all future plastering work 'old & new'.

George did a fantastic job of lime plastering a room in our clay-lump house at very short notice. The room has been transformed! I was impressed by his can-do attitude, responsiveness and the care he takes in his work. We'll definitely be getting him back to do other plastering work.
