Ignore the silly review below, Paul is an absolute gentleman, great bloke, very professional, great to chat to and even though I haven't been for a while, I know its the place to go! Decent haircuts done to a high standard! Highly highly recommended!!

I first used Paul many years ago when I lived in Heaton Moor and he's brilliant. He always delivers the cut I'm after to an excellent standard and we have a top laugh along the way. I've moved to other areas since then, but after a couple of dodgy cuts from the local barbers I've learned that traveling to see Paul is easily worth the effort. He offers a professional, fairly priced service and a warm and friendly experience. I wouldn't go to anyone else for my haircuts (or football chats!)

Had my haircut by Paul since I moved to Heaton Moor 10 years ago.. Great guy and great chats which is not always guaranteed with your barber! Paul knows exactly how to cut my hair and he’s not expensive despite the fact he’s worked in Manchester’s top barbers. Consider myself lucky to have him on my doorstep!

I was looking for a new barber and had thought Paul would provide a good service. After he politely referred me to his website to make a booking, I made an appointment. When I arrived at my appointment I saw he was in and knocked on the door, which was ignored. I tried knocking again which was also ignored. It was at this point he took out his hairdryer and started doing some cleaning, fair enough I thought – clearly a busy man! I called the number provided in his confirmation email, thinking he simply hadn’t heard me… which rang out. It was only after I tapped the glass to his front window that he finally paid me any attention, after opening the door he demanded to know why I was trying to break his window!! Quite strange I thought, I explained that I’d knocked on his door, to which he replied he hadn’t heard me because of his cleaning (which he started after I’d already knocked twice). When I explained I’d called the business number from his email he claimed it was disconnected! I was honestly very taken aback by his conduct today, and have since found another barber who was only too happy to see me.Edit: after posting this review I received this email response from the owner.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!it seems like similar situations have happened before to othersBooked an appointment for 3pm earlier this week. My appointment confirmed via email.I came to the shop early, as I'm walking up the path to the shop, the guy obviously inside saw me, locked the door and disappeared into the back of the shop and didn’t return. After waiting outside knocking constantly and trying to call his phone with no answer, I gave up and went to a great barber up the road.Very strange

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years now and even travel from further afield for a hair cut and a catch up. After going in as a curious passer by, I know call Paul a mate. Always timely and professional and gives a great customer experience. He’s made the Moor his own after all these years and for anyone who wants to go in a get a trim, I’d highly recommend Broomheads!

Paul's a fantastic barber always gives a great service and an even better hair cut, very nice guy easy to have a good conversation and makes you feel comfortable, His booking system makes things very easy knowing you don't have to sit in a cue.

Been coming here for years - Paul is one of the most genuine guys I know, to the point where I consider him a friend. Always happy to see you, great banter and does a great job with the haircut too. Even does a loyalty scheme which is a nice touch. I come from Blackpool to get my hair cut here - that tells you all you need to know.

I have been getting my hair cut by Paul for years.Appiontment system which is great so no waiting around. Not only is Paul a brilliant barber but he's much cheaper than the rest of Heaton moor by a stretch . Lovely stylish shop right opposite the Elizabethan pub , I drive 10 miles every week to Paul's as I just know it's going to be a professional cut .

A regular customer, wouldn't go anywhere else. Paul's a great barber and his new booking system makes things super easy. Plus the chat is excellent.
