Sighthill Stone Circle
This is an astronomical stone circle constructed by a modern artist to commemorate the work of astronomers at Glasgow University. It also has a 'humming stone' that you can blow into to create a resonating vibrating sound. It's among new buildings and is just the stones, no admission charge, toilets, cafe or gift shop.

Worth a visit, originally installed 1979 it was moved due to regeneration of the area in 2016. Glasgow Parks commissioned Duncan Lunan to create an astronomical circle which is aligned to the stars.

It was rainy day. Which made the place more beautiful and attractive.

In as far as densely populated areas go, this little stone circle isn't bad (if you'll excuse the scenic view of the traffic and buildings around it), on a sunny day, with hardly anyone around, it's quite pleasant. We had a little picnic got engaged here last Saturday :-)

Beautiful place which can be identified as a mini version of a Stonehenge. FOC

Simply beautifulA real, carefully, meticulously positioned stone circle built today on principles over 3000 years old only a 15 minute walk from a main transport hub in Glasgow.
