Boots

Used to be ok with helpful staff but now it's dire. Cramped layout ,long queues, miserable staff. Update Oct 2023: Store remains thoroughly depressing & unpleasant. I only used it today as it was an emergency. The pharamacist I spoke to on the phone promised she would text me when my prescription came in, no surprise that this didn't happen. I felt so ill waiting in line to simply collect it but staff couldn't care less & take their own sweet time with very little courtesy or warmth.

Pharmacy staff very unhelpful. I was the only person in the store and went to collect my prescription. I was told its ready just needs to be checked by pharmacist. I saw 3 people doing there own thing and not checking the only prescription there. Waited 20min and left. Told them I'll be back tomorrow. At least that will give them enough time to check the name and medication given to me. Absolutely ridiculous. I had a bus to catch or I'll be late for work. Couldn't even check while waiting 20min and the only person there. Never had this before, they use to be really quick and helpful. Not anymore. Will be changing my Pharmacy after this prescription I collect tomorrow. If I could, I would of given them zero stars.

Don't go there ALONE!! The security was keeping her eye on me for a whole time and even asked me if I PICKED UP their stuff and put it in my pocket... I showed my empty pockets, but still she stared at me until I left, even though there were a lot of customers coming in..

If you're going to close 15mins before the actual closing time, then change your official opening/closing hours.

Asian assistant" at this Boots store deliberately misgendered me today with a smirk on his face. Thought Boots wouldn't be so backward and last century. If you're trans don't shop here unless you want them to ruin your day."

Service gets slow at times but this drugstore is pretty reliable still. The staff is friendly and will help you. Some guards can feel weird though.

Had an appointment for flu jab at four, when I arrive on time promptly, I was told the pharmacist was on break. I had to wait more than 30 mins.What’s the point of having an appointment system??

They make you wait around only to then tell you the system is down for two days in a row now. Have to walk around and find another pharmacy for my medication

Excellent store- great location and nice staff with security. I’ve seen bad reviews regarding the pharmacy here. But I found the staff lovely, the wait was not long, there are even chairs inside for you to wait for your pick up. If you bring your prescription in before 6pm your medications are available for collection the next day, and they take down your contact details in case there is any delay.The staff are discreet and profession. Don’t trust the older reviews of this pharmacy. They are very good here.
