Kwik Fit - Dumfries - Brooms Road

I booked a free vehicle safety check in Kwik fit - Dumfries in Brooms Rd and the experience was great. Staffs were attentive and honest. Special thanks to Neil (if Im not mistaken his name) for fixing my side light free of charge. Very kind person. I will definitely come again in this branch as I feel more comfortable and confident of their service.

Booked online to get brakes checked as warning light has flashed (we were on holiday). Arrived and he said ‘van won’t fit on ramps’ (despite me entering details of van on booking site). When I asked why it had allowed me to book, replied ‘funny that’ in a v disinterested way. No suggestion or alternatives or apology. Seemed more interested in his coffee. I’m normally a Kwik fit user in Glasgow, so not biased against the chain, but the booking system and attitudes could improve.

The team explained what they were doing/why and broke down the costs for me. After my MOT, Service, Wheel Alignment and new Break Pads/Discs, I have noticed a difference in how smooth my car is driving. The only thing I’d say based on my visit is… it can be a bit intimidating when the team are all together, I felt awkward approaching them. However, I’m sure this is just a me problem haha!

The service from reception to end was excellent. Very polite, friendly, and more importantly, honest. How during a brake check, you explained to us, about the risk involved if we had driven the car beyond the day was reassuring and a relief. The Manager who attended to us deserved our thanks and your recognition for his excellent customer care approach. By rectifying the problem, he had actually saved 2 lives, my wife and me. We were planning a long drive to Surrey to visit our daughter in hospital. That man's action certainly raised the reputation of the Broom Road's shop in Dumfries. I will certainly use Kwik Fit again. Service was above and beyond! Especially thanks to Gus who really went out of his way to offer great customer service. Had both my cars in for things on the same day and lefts very happy with the alignment in one and tyres on the other

Visited this kwik fit as we were having some trouble with breaks. We found online a last minute slot. Other local garages in the area wouldn’t see us for months. The got the break pads replaced in under 2 hours. Great service!

I was extremely reassured and relieved to be treated with courtesy and care from the moment I arrived, nervously - not knowing what to expect, and worried about my car - all the way through. The Brooms Road, Dumfries, premises are so clean and well organised and friendly! I was instantly put at my ease, and my car was also instantly taken off for its MOT (no languishing in a remote corner). all the staff were brisk, efficient, and had a pleasant welcoming smile..

The guys here were super helpful after I purchased a car and one of the tyres was deflated. Found these gents open and popped in.They couldn’t have helped more if they tried.They took the wheel off and checked it all out.As it turned out the tyre was ok, and they didn’t charge.Left them a bag of sweets as a thanks.Brilliant job guys, and I usually stay away from any Kwik fits.
