My friend and I recording a few acoustic songs at Select Recording Studios. Paul the sound engineer/producer for our session made us feel welcome and comfortable. You can tell he’s a great guy and musician. We had a blast recoding our songs and we’re already putting together more songs to record here. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

My wife and I came to see Paul to record a professional version of a song that existed in a very rough edit. In a single session Paul added guitar, keys, bass, drums, riffs, harmonies, a guitar solo and vocal recording before editing it all and giving us the final version. The entire experience was extremely efficient, I watched his mouse whizzing across the screens of several different interfaces and every tweak and addition was rapid and hit the mark. Paul is extremely talented and creative, adding touches of drums and riffs where he thinks they will work and he got it absolutely right.Whilst this session was originally purchased as a gift, we will definitely go again to get more recordings done. Overall it was an extremely pleasant experience, we received a fantastic final product, and Paul is an incredibly nice guy who made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Can highly recommend!

I booked the 5 hour recording experience for my daughter and her cousin. Paul was excellent, allowing them to experience performing, recording and producing at their own pace. He put them at ease, allowing them to feel confident to participate, and also created their own song with them too. Brilliant experience. They were buzzing afterwards.

I travelled from Dubai to London to work with Paul and I can proudly say working with Paul has been a fantastic experience. He is a multi talented musician with unbelievable musical knowledge. I worked with him on two of my original songs. He mixed, mastered and put the final touches to both of my songs perfectly. Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Paul and I have worked together since 2009. I have recorder close to 30 songs with him over this period - some English (rock/ pop) and some Hindi songs even.Paul is, of course, a consummate professional - does his job brilliantly, is an exceptionally quick and good engineer on the software, knows his stuff inside out, gets stuff done quickly, is super friendly and lovely to work with.None of that, however, has been the highlight of my 14 years with him. My highlight is that Paul is a gifted musician who wears his talent lightly. His ability to understand the song, super quickly, and then do his bit in bass, electric guitar, drums, tabla sounds, musical interludes…. It’s as if the guy had written the tune himself. How he manages to do this for a different person every day - that’s the truly incredible bit about this awesome gentleman.Thank you for last week Paul, it was great to record another one, and see you soon!
