Wonderful morning out for our daughter (6), so that she could meet Santa and take part in all the activities that were on offer. Also went ice skating in the rink on site. Very good value for money, would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful garden centre with plenty of products to browse. Ample space to move around & the restaurant serves lovely food.Came for the Santa Grotto experience & it was well worth it.

Super place to visit - lots of lovely Christmas decorations and gift ideas. Plenty of parking even though on our visit there were loads of people there. The only downside was that the restaurant was understaffed - we were a party of 5, and on ordering hot meals we were told there would be at least a 40 minute wait (the meals were all basic meals/chips etc) and sadly we didn't want the wait so settled for drinks only.

A large and well presented garden centre with a good range of plants and garden sundries. I visited in December so their Christmas attractions were in full swing. They have a large Christmas display with plenty of choice from cheap 'n' cheerful to the more pricey. I bought a gonk, but that's my problem and anyway I liked it so there! The cafe was busy. I had coffee and a tea cake; I know how to live, me. Overall, a pleasant buzz to the place. I liked it and would recommend it.

A really large centre with.plenty of choice. Their selection of Xmas decorations and trees is second to none. Didn't get to try the cafe as there was a sizeable queue, obviously very popular.

Went for lunch today with my mom, nan, 3 year old and 6 month old. When we arrived we did notice it was more busy than usual and we were informed at the til that there would be an half an hour wait for food due to how busy it was. This was fine and off course not an issue as we purchased the picnic lunch for my 3 year old so by the time he ate his crisps and raisins his sandwich would probably be ready or close to, however after waiting 35 minutes and seeing food that was ordered after us delivered we asked one of the young servers to check on our food, he came back asking to see the receipt so he could check with the kitchen, this was a bit strange as there are table numbers but however we gave him the receipt, he then came back with no receipt saying someone is looking into it for us, we asked if the food was ready or not as it was now 40 minutes and my 3 year old was starting to become unsettled and we were beginning to get very hungry, he said he didn't know and when we asked another server again she said she didn't know. So we assumed at this point our food wasn't ready and so we asked for a refund. Due to the inconvenience we would expect to be refunded the full bill but when the 'manager' came out he refused saying we had already drank the drinks. No apology or anything just straight into rude, short responses. When we queried why the food was forgotten he said that it wasn't that it was ready in the kitchen and that we had refused to receive the food to which we said this wasn't the case, he then proceeded to say that they had no chef that both himself 'the manager' and his assistant manager were in the kitchen sorting the food. So there was no one to see to the front of house, which as an assistant manager to Mitchel and Butlers is a very poor excuse and still no responsibility was taken, to the point that it was 45 minutes after ordering and we had had no information or communication to inform us where our food was. Just a very rude 'manager' who obviously doesn't take his management role seriously and doesn't feel that he has any responsibility for his staff or the situation. If we were informed from the start that there wasn't a chef then we may have been a bit more understanding or if we were offered an apology or some sort of recognition that it was in case an error on their part then maybe we wouldn't have felt so belittled. The 'Manager' needs a serious training session in customer service, thrusting a receipt into my mom's hands as he throws a paddy because he was unable to do his job today and manage the situation, is not how a manager handles customers that have been forgotten. If the chef had called in and they were unable to handle the situation they should've stopped service.Absolutely appalling customer service and very poor management all round. Those poor girls at the counter trying their best to get everyone sorted and keeping up a positive and welcoming atmosphere when dealing with poor management, they deserve a medal and definitely some recognition.

This garden centre has the finest display of Christmas goods that I have ever seen, a wonderful display which must have taken many hours to put together, it certainly goes a long way into getting you in to the Christmas spirit. The garden side of this centre is also well laid out with a vast array of plants and shrubs .This place is a must to visit.

Everything you need here for a lovely trip out. Great cafe (although it does get crowded and a bit messy at times), Pavers shoes, Regatta, Cotton Traders, toys and books, kitchen stuff, gifts galore, and the Christmas display is absolutely fantastic! Oh, and don't forget the actual garden! Everything you might need.

Disgusting where do you start. Tables all dirty very smeared, bits all over the floors very dusty as you walk in on left hand side counter tops ( this is basic cleaning). Then get to till to order food and a minimum of a hour wait for all food???? So why not half the size of restaurant and deal with a smaller amount of customers. As you can clearly see from photos there’s a lot of empty tables. This is the worst I’ve ever seen total disgrace and disappointment and disgusting.
