My car battery had a drain issue. This garage took a few minutes to check the battery to verify the battery was indeed draining and charged me £45 without any further diagnosis or information. They didn't tell me anything I didn't already know and charged for 30 mins of work. A mobile mechanic was able to diagnose and fix the issue in just over an hour at a much more cost effective price.

Probably the best example of professional courtesy I have seen in a garage. From the moment I called up I the easy demeanour of the chap on the phone meant that In a particularly stressful situation 'I.e water pump failure' they put me at ease that they knew what they were doing. I had my car relayed there in the morning and by the afternoon it had been done, which is outstanding given the time it would have taken, I was reassured that this wasn't at the detriment of other customers, which was good to know. Everything about this garage screams reliability and attention to detail, they have the basics covered : uniforms, professional headed invoices, easy loan car process that cannot be made any easier and finally they will spend as much time addressing your questions as you need. As you would expect for the quality to be so good there was not much difference between main dealer prices, but the expertise of the individuals for the similar price I feel is far more here.Rest assured your in good hands.

Great service today over my daughters car visiting from Newcastle. Quickly diagnosed fault soured part and fitted all on the day. Great attitude and service. Recommend to everyone.

Went there yesterday, I explained what’s wrong with my car it was easy fix could have been done in 10 minutes, didn’t had a tools to do by myself , the guy there was helpfull but the owners convinced me to pay 1 hour job.

Great garage, I had my Golf GTI water pump replaced here last year (forgot to review earlier, sorry!).They were able to do the job for around half the price that main dealers and other garages quoted me due to their experience, I will definitely be using them again if I need any repairs done.

1st time using Youngs for the annual service to my recently acquired Q2. I think I’ve found a goodun. Car ready on time. Spent time explaining the details of what was done, some of the things wouldn’t have been obvious unless they had been checked ,like an issue with the rain sensor. This was due to a replacement windscreen a week before and came up as a fault as it had not been reset by the screen fitter. Very thorough report provided. Overall very pleased.

Russel and Nick are excellent. Best mechanic I've had in a long time. I take both my Golf and A6 there and have done for about 5 years. They really know what they are doing and they recommend what really needs doing and what can wait. They never 'create work' and they minimise time, and therefore cost, on services. I wish all mechanics were as trust worthy as these guys. Plus they are nice guys, never grumpy like some mechanics.

Took my 18 year old Audi TT for some necessary work. Expertly done and probably half the price Audi main dealer would charge. Nick the owner very knowledgeable and helpful. Would highly recommend. 5***** service.

Took my RS5 here to have some work done as had a light on dash, Nick was very helpful and sorted problem out with his workshop guys, top class work and would recommend,
