Went to get a new tyre as mine had a nail in it, when I asked for the price he told me £63.99. He didn’t include VAT and the “tyre disposal” charge of £3.10 and decided to keep that to himself until the point until the tyre was fitted and I had to pay the bill, costing me £80 in total to have a replacement tyre and they didn’t even fit it. When I went to get the tyre he said it would cost me £20 extra for him to fit the tyre. I have been seen off and would definitely not recommend this garage to anyone!

Wade and Simon have done it again for me, they always come through with the diagnosis and repair of faults on my vehicle, keeping me informed of the ongoing work and prognosis whilst also relaying the timeframe for how long the repairs will be.The knowledge base of both of these guys means that if you go in with any issue they will be able to resolve it either within the day you take it in or within the next few days and will always keep you updated as to what is going on. I would thoroughly recommend Welfare Garage for any of your vehicle repairs.

Wade and his team provide a professional and trustworthy service. If work isn't needed he tells you straight - unlike many of the national chains and main dealers.I have been using the Welfare Garage for over 30 years and highly recommend them.

Car broke down on road side last night and called Welfare Garage first thing this morning. Wayde and his team picked it up from roadside first thing in this morning and replaced master and slave clutch cylinders before lunchtime (£370 including roadside recovery)
