Andrew is a fantastic drummer and teacher. I've been having lessons for about half a year, and was a complete beginner who had never even sat behind a drum kit. The lessons are fun with the focus on building up the foundations, but also Andrew has mentioned to me a few times that if I wanted to learn a particular song or technique then we can do that too. So there is a lot of flexibility in what you can learn. I would highly recommend Andrew and would say if you're on the fence then send a message and get a trial lesson booked in!

I've been having drum lessons with Andrew for over a year now and enjoy every minute of them! Andrew is very good at teaching all aspects of drumming and bringing them together in an easy and fun way to understand. He has a good focus on technique and how you will develop this in stages over long term. Andrew is very patient and flexible with his lessons allowing you to work at your own pace. Each lesson he ensures the kit is set up correctly for me, explains what we'll be doing and at the end sends me off with some tips on what to practice. Would definitely recommend!

I have been attending drumming lessons with Andrew since October and I have learnt a lot from him! He's a great teacher and is always offering advice outside of practice hours. It's a comfortable environment and he's super friendly. Would highly recommend!

Andrew is brilliant drum instructor! He's very friendly and professional in his approach to teaching. I've been practicing since the start of this year and although the restrictions due to the pandemic have been tough, he has helped me develop my drumming skills greatly throughout. Whether it be online lessons to improve my technique or on the drums in his new studio, which is all safely kitted out for the current measures.He's flexible and good with organising lessons around your schedule and he monitors your progress so you get the best out of each lesson. He also has an extensive knowledge about music and is a great person to ask advice on anything drum related.I'd highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of starting up drumming, to consider tuition with Andrew. Drumming has become my new hobby thanks to him!

Andrew is a brilliant drum teacher. Extremely knowledgeable, skilled and patient with a great capacity to adapt his way of teaching to the needs of each student. He has a good focus on technique and always give you good tips on how to practice. Andrew has been teaching my son and myself online for over a year now and both of us improved so much during that time. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who is serious about drumming.

Been learning with Andrew from a true beginner level for just under a year now and it's been great so far! Andrew's a super friendly and patient teacher and cultivates a really positive environment for building skill and confidence in all aspects of playing. The flexibility of the lessons themselves and Andrew's ability to tailor lessons to develop any drumming technique in a laidback way are super helpful and I can feel myself progressing all the time. Really sound guy and a top-shelf drummer, highly recommend his tuition for drummers of any skill level!

Andrew is a smashing drum teacher and decent all round fellow. Great at adapting to my individual needs/ability and coming up with different methods and techniques to help enhance my level of understanding and skill. With a focus on the foundations of drumming technique he's really helped me progress beyond levels of former teachers who often focus on individual tracks rather than overall technique. A double thumbs up from me.

Andrew is a great drum teacher - obviously I don't know much about teaching drums but to me it feels like he focuses on good technique but makes sure it doesn't get too boring by balancing it with some more interesting grooves. He lets you go at a pace good for you but it feels as though you are constantly progressing. He's also easy to work with arranging sessions and generally just a nice guy! 100% recommend Andrew

Andrew is a great teacher and has really helped me to modify some of my poor technique - having played a little in the past. He’s also put together some structure in my practice which has allowed me to develop much quicker and work on the things that I want to improve. Really easy to get on with and definitely worth getting in touch if you’re considering lessons….
