Previous review I left highly praised this vet. Recently the staff and attitude has changed to rude and unhelpful. Seems they want extra finance to fund their recent surgery extension. From good to poor.

I Have been with this vets for over 30 years when mr Marshall owned it . I would say in my experience its one of the best vets that could ever see to your animals. The quality of care and expertise is totally outstanding.. recently the vet we always seen wasMr priest .But ! . He has sadly retired . Noone could ever replace such a wonderful vet as him . But as they was all working under the same roof . I would sincerely hope and im sure they will work to Mr priests level of expert service . I trust this vets with all my animals over the years ...... I even had a cat till she was 22 years old. I would say this vets played a part in keeping my animals well to live such a healthy long life too .(They even sent a sympathy card to me when the time came )I 100% hand on heart ❤ i would recommend this place .If you truly love your furbabies. These guys are the ones to take care of them .....

I am totally and utterly disgusted in their so called empathy and compassion and understanding.We took our poor dog in as things just didn't look right, she's been suffering with a skin problem for some time, their answer to this was steroids,steroids, steroids and more steroids.Now our little one has IMHA.and possibly cushings disease. She is in a bad way, needed hospitalisation and a blood transfusion. As we can't get insurance for ongoing conditions I was left with no option but to find the money myself, costing over £3.000.The practice knows of our predicament but yet no help whatsoever from them. All they want is their fees paid pronto. Not even a sympathetic pay as much as you can now and come to some arrangement, nope nothing,pay us now policy.Our dog came home after hospital treatment and was asked to return her the following day for a blood test, blood count at the hospital fee was a very respected £19.54. Took her today to the vets for a simular blood count, and POW, hit us with a £ 90.00 slap in the face for good measure, knowing we were at our wits end and panicking over the spiralling costs, they do this to us.The reception team however were sympathetic I will say that for them, and they were showing concern. As for the actual vets themselves as far as I'm concerned their only interest in lining their pockets.A practice that has a so called excellent track record you would thing there would or could be some sort of payment plan in place for people who struggle. And they have the cheek to say they do this for the love of pets,phfff.Needless to say we will not be using this practice anymore and will be taking my complaint to higher authority.

Took our cat Cassie vet was so lovely and took her time. Cost not too bad

I have had my pets - dogs and cats treated at this practice for decades. I visited today and like the changes to the structure of the building - it has a fresh and very clean look.The lady vet I saw was charming and very helpful in answering my questions. I am very happy to recommend the practice.

Very good with my kitten raven who had a respiratory infection

i had to take my cat of 19 years to be put to sleep, which was one of the hardest days for us to face, the service by this veterinary clinic was not of a professional standard. there was no compassion and sympathy shown to us or our pet, after she was euthanised, we were given no time to grieve, seemed to be rushed to due to other clients coming in, we had to walk through the waiting area on the way out, passing other people with our pet and we were extremely distressed, more privacy should have been allowed, i made the decision not to leave our moggy there but to take her to be cremated elsewhere due to the insensitivity shown towards us. at least they could have done is shown a little compassion for our deceased pet and ourselves , and made our exit more dignified,

All the staff are lovely and really care about you and your pets.
