Craig is a gent, as is his colleague (whose name escapes me, apologies). Price was very competitive and we were fortunate enough to get a very short notice installation date. We're so happy with the finished product. The little tutorial with the handover documentation was very appreciated.

Fantastic from start to finish. Craig very kindly popped round to survey the job at a time that suited us, outside of normal working hours. He ran through the different options we had with our installation and we settled upon a method that worked well for us.We ordered our fireplace elsewhere, and when it was received he contacted us to arrange an installation date that suited us both.A couple of days prior Craig contacted me to arrange an arrival time to commence work. On the day he arrived bang on time.Weather was awful, rain, wind and snow, and we needed our chimney capping off! He kept an eye on the weather and when there was a bit of a lull in the downpour he got up on the roof and did what he needed to.Dismantling an old fireplace you would imagine is a very messy job, knocking out old brickwork, removing skirtings, drilling through walls to run the cable, however mess was kept to a minimum. We have been refurbing our property for a while, and have had a lot of different tradesmen in for many different aspects. However none have been as easy to work with or done as good a job as we got with our fireplace. Craigs workmanship and attention to detail is second to none, even scribing out neatly on the skirting around the fireplace and finishing with a very neat bead of caulk all the way round. I was prepared to have to repaint after the installation however there’s absolutely no need.Genuinely the best tradesman we have had in, and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thanks again!

Craig was brilliant from start to finish. I can't recommend Burning Desire Installations enough. We've wanted a log burner for years and now we couldn't be happier. If we ever move and need another installed we are going straight to Craig.

Craig installed a Hobbit SE for us today and we couldn't be happier. Quality of work was second to none and Craig took the time, both before and during installation, to explain all our options and answer any questions we had. We had an old fireplace removed and a new wood burner installed, and they also removed and refitted (in a different room) an old fire surround. All of the work was done to a very high standard and we are very happy with the end result. We really appreciated how much advice was given throughout the process and couldn’t recommend Craig and his team more. It definitely felt like they went above and beyond and did everything with a lot of care. Would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a new fireplace or any work relating to fire surrounds.
