My insurance company sent me here for repairs to my car. Their customer service was very good. They kept me informed by phone and text every step of way. The reception staff were so lovely, very friendly. They were able to find me an automatic courtesy car. My car came back to me in perfect condition, they even valeted it. I couldn't tell it had been repaired. Very much a 5 star experience.

This has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. 2 months down the line and the car is still not repaired and they have no idea what they are doing. Took the car away with the promise of a hire car. No hire car was provided due to their error and we have had to go back and collect the car as it is needed for school run. Really, really poor!!

If your insurance company suggests taking your car to FMG following an accident, I’d suggest you find your own accident repair centre. They are terrible.No fault accident on 18th September, and we are told they are awaiting a headlamp. Cajoled is into have a non-genuine one to get our car on the road faster (allegedly BMW won’t get the ordered headlamp in until 22nd November) so we agreed. Today they call me to apologise they ordered the wrong headlamp and now they can’t get one anywhere so there is no timeframe at all for getting our car back. Having spoken to dealers, it’s not possible to get a non-genuine headlamp because the car is a shadow edition so it has to be from BMW. You’d think FMG would know this, no? To add insult to injury, the woman from the body shop hasn’t been honest and even told me a couple of weeks ago that they’ve had cars in there for up to a year because they can’t get parts. Then why on earth do Admiral use them? They are incompetent, and our car is deteriorating sat around doing nothing, and losing book value month on month, whilst we have to drive around in a tin-pot seat which was filthy when they handed it over. This will be going to the ombudsman, and as suggested, go elsewhere, they’re useless. They don’t deserve anyone’s business.
