I had a fortune to speak to someone over the phone with regards to my appointment. I was referred to endocrinologist unit in wythenshaw hospital in end of august and in the letter was asked to get intouch with hospital in November, in case haven’t heard from them. Contacted them in November and was told someone will get intouch as soon as appointment is available. Today I called them again to get an update. And the person on the other side was not empathetic at all, instead she said the letter I received was wrong and I should be a regular referral and not urgent. There was so much sarcasm in her voice and it totally showed she don’t care about hearing anything from patients. She hung up my phone after the call and I was still talking. Such a disgrace to the hospital.
