Ashtons Legal Solicitors Cambridge

In my experience (conveyancing) these solicitors have been really good, very efficient, friendly, understanding, always available. Our house move didn't go through in the end (for personal reasons nothing to do with Ashtons) so no experience of the whole process with them, but based on the service we received, would highly recommend.

I was advised by my Company, to appoint a Solicitor, regarding a Settlement Agreement. I chose Ashtons, and I'm really glad I did. Blanche McDade was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and made the whole process extremely easy. I would have no issues recommending Ashtons at all.

I would definitely recommend Ashtons, to anyone seeking legal experts, when they come to sell their business, I was delighted with their friendly, open approach and help received. From the start they took what was a very stressful situation and handled it very smoothly, easing the stress on me. At the same time, I was involved at every step of the way, so I knew what was going on. I felt I could rely on them to achieve the best outcome, whilst smoothing what can be a very painful process. Their prices were also reasonable for the work done!I would have no hesitation in using their services again, and in recommending them to colleagues and friends.

Poor contact. I contacted Ashton's and was redirected to the main switchboard to give my details, and told they would get back to me.Still heard nothing after 2 weeks, so seems like just a waste of my time to get in touch with them. Would be much better if they are too busy to get back to people, to just say so. This would have saved me the time to going through all the info. In addition I am now delayed in getting the work I needed to get done.Best to save your time and avoid, in my opinion. But I hope for their sake they can improve the contact process/experience.

We wont use them again. Having used them a few years ago to purchase a property we were happy to contact again to say we were moving and didn't even consider anyone else. This time though, very different story. Lack of contact, many mistakes, the whole service we received was a shambles. I was even put through to head of department at one stage who said they take complaints very seriously and someone would be in touch but I still heard nothing - that just summed them up for me.

A simple, chain-free purchase is due to complete in almost 4 months. The seller questioned nothing, I questioned nothing. There were *no* complicating factors yet somehow, it took 4 months.Comms=======Their phones auto-redirect to VoiceMail, their customer relations answer phone message says they're returning to work on 8th January (it's JUNE).They *never* send a status update. They had apparently sent chasers to the seller's solicitor but all of this was invisible to me, I was left languishing in the dark.Output======They received some illegible photocopies from the seller's solicitor, (apparently) but printed and mailed them to me advising I pay close attention".I confirmed that there was nothing outstanding and that everything was aligned for exchange of contracts - yup

I has been given the best advice and legal advice and help . Be happy to use the company again if needed.

Blanche was very helpful in helping me negotiate the legal process at a difficult time. Taking the time to explain things clearly and answering all questions I had.

Very disappoint experience. Found the contact details on Google, seemed to have a decent rating from past customers, so decide to contact the company.Contacted the company phone number on Friday - spoke to a very pleasant person , asked to speak to someone about a legal issues that came up recently. She took my name and contact details and promised someone will contact me to discuss it.Six days later , have heard nothing, called again, went through the same process, was told that my original contact and request were recorded - and she would make sure someone will get back to me.Three days later - still nothing.I guess there are always other options who may be more professional

We have used Ashtons with our purchase as they were recommended by a friend. they have completed the purchase ok however I did not found their communication very effective. Most of the calls goes to voicemail unfortunately. Also after the purchase I emailed about something and never got a reply back which was a bit disappointing.
