Very friendly, great selection of dresses.

What an amazing studio!!I'm not a bride to be but was looking for something special for a function I am attending.The lady was so helpful...honest if something wasn't really me...and I couldn't believe the amount of dresses she had!!!Huge carpark...beautiful bridal car in the entrance area....Don't expect a posh bridal suite with glitz glam and snooty sales people...But you do get is a lovely lady who knows her stuff! A huge range of dresses. Shoes and more!

Freezing cold. My daughter the bride to be had no heating in the changing room. Ended up looking like a pluked chicken with so many goosebumps on goosebumps and blue ,white and red were her main colours from freezing so much. The place hasn't been vacuumed or cleaned in a year at least! Dirty everywhere. Toilets were disgustingly dirty. Bins over flowing so itea.s building up on the floor.Really poor for this day and age xx

Where do I begin, buying my wedding dress was always going to be a worry, firstly being a plus size and secondly my Mum no longer here, was always going to be an emotional day.I meet Amanda at a wedding fair and put me at ease straight away, made an appointment to view dresses....the day of my appointment came, myself and best friend went along...parking fantastic, quiet location which is lovely.Oh my goodness, so many beautiful dresses, never did I think I would find a dress I liked and suited me, let alone having to choose from so many, we got there in the end, a few tears, the dress stunning, and wish I could wear it again! We even managed to get a matching flower girl dress for my daughter, perfect!My dress fittings with Amanda & Nic put me at ease, had a few tears along the way, but which bride dosnt??My only regret was not having Amanda dress me on the day of my wedding, I wish I could do it all again, so I could get to have another gorgeous dress.Amanda thank you so much, guiding me to find the dress, wiping tears and making me feel so much at ease. I will recommend everyone that they need to come and see you for their dress.xxx

First appointment ever to try on dresses but wasn’t really the experience I thought I would have. We arrived 15 minutes early as wasn’t sure where it was. Knocked to let them know I was there and was asked to wait in the car whilst the previous bride finished up. Absolutely no problem with that and returned to the car to wait. My appointment was for 1pm and at 1:25pm I was still sat in the car. No sign from anyone. Went in to see what was happening and was told ‘oh this bride is just finishing up you know what It’s like trying to find the dress’. There was no apology for keeping me waiting. I decided to give it another 5 minutes otherwise I was leaving. At 1:30 the other bride left and I finally went in for my appointment. The changing area was dated, dusty and frankly felt a bit unloved. As a bride to be at first appointment it was incredibly underwhelming. I did try a few dresses which as a first appointment was a nice thing and the owner did know her stuff on styles and fit. Personally I found the dresses not to my liking and styles were a bit dated for my taste. I also didn’t appreciate the owner taking phone calls during the appointment. I wouldn’t have minded so much if she had stepped out of the changing room. It was clear there had been a problem with something and having to hear the phone call just added to alarm bells ringing!Overall definitely not the experience I thought I would have trying dresses. I have had far nicer appointments and found the dress elsewhere. Personally Frocks and Frills isn’t somewhere I would recommend other brides to go.

Mandy's studio was the first wedding dress shop I visited, and from the get-go she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She had the perfect balance of listening to my ideas and suggestions, while also using her expertise to bring in dresses that she would recommend. I visited a few other wedding dress shops in the Cornwall area, and Mandy's stock and variety was the biggest by far. After that, I came back to try on my favourite from Frocks and Frills and said yes to the dress! Mandy goes above and beyond, would definitely recommend!
