Beautiful bookshop, like something out of hogwarts! 5 stories of all the books you can imagine, tons of little hideys for you to dissappear and read in - Kids loved exploring and finding all sorts, brilliant place!

Fantastic old fashioned book shop on multiple level. Great selection from modern novels and biographies to hard to find historic reference material. A real trove for any keen browser and reader.

An amazing book store that has an incredible amount of books that cover 5 floors!If you love your vintage books, you'll have a great time. I was in love with their basement, such a great atmosphere for exploring books of all genres!

Very old worldy 5 floors filled with old/vintage/antique books/magazines/posters/CDs/cards. The book store is under new management a month ago: a very friendly lady who has been working there for a long time! The store is filled to the brim of all book categories! The new owner is also starting a coffee and tea refreshments. There are some seats on the second floor. The store has some lovely framed paintings and photos. The only negative feature is because it is such an old building, there isn't enough space available for making a stairlift, therefore it is not at the moment, wheelchair or mobility friendly. I would still highly recommend a visit to 'Scrivener's Book and Bookbinding', if you are a book lover!

What a delightful place. Huge selection of books over 5 floors, with a small 'museum' in the cellar. Large proportion are hardbacks and they have a rare /first edition /signed collection of books. Can also but some online via Abe Books.If you like books, well worth a visit.

What a fascinating emporium of second-hand books. Five floors divided in dozens of sections, plus little areas where you could sit and browse books in more detail. We went in out of curiosity, and have never seen anything like this place. The staff were lovely, and very accommodating of our Dalmatian.

This is one of the most beautiful bookshops in Cheshire. The bookshop features thousands of invaluable and vintage collections across diverse subjects. They are elegantly distributed across its cellar, three floors and an attic. The staff is so kind that she led me to the relevant bookshelves after inquiry of an author. This is undoubtedly one of pilgrimage sites for book lovers.

It's okay. Very tiny and crowded, not easily accessible to everyone and also not so easy to find what you're looking for. They have a great selection of old books though which I loved!

Wonderful and quirky bookstore spread over different floors from the basement to the attic. Never able to visit without making a few purchases! Would highly recommend
