The owner showed us the car we arranged to view out of opening hours. No hard sales push, just advise on buying classic cars. This being my first classic car it was apreciated. I bought a 1980 MGB which i took away the same day. Thank you for your help & assitance .Almost 9mths since I bought my Mgb still over moon with it.20/8/18 Had the car almost had 9 months, had loads of fun especially with the brilliant weather. Had a few minor issues, but nothing to moan about (just classic cars). I would still recommend Ace Classic Cars & will return should I decide to buy another classicThanks for your advice

Over a period of around fifteen years, I have bought several, (modern and classic) cars from this company, have had nothing but first class service, and excellent quality. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I am very particular with detail, and have never found them wanting in this respect, and subsequently I have returned several times.

I've bought seven or eight cars from Ace over the last few years and felt that I had to say that I have had nothing but great deals and excellent service from this garage!

Great place to do buy a classic. Not pushy just honest informed advice and given space to make my own mind up.

7 years ago i bought a 1966 Vaixhall Viva SL90 unseen by myself as recovering from an operation. It is the one and only time i have ever purchased a vehicle personally unseen.I felt confident to do so because of the positive reviews.I was not disappointed.Still got car.

I have just read a poor review on here and felt compelled to offer my take on Ace Classic Cars.I have owned over 10 classic cars and have sourced them in different ways...purchased them privately..imported into the UK from Europe and USA..and also bought through classic car dealerships.I have owned a 1936 Ford 10 ..a 1966 Hillman Minx ...a 1953 Lea Francis Four Light Saloon and a 1962 Ford Pop 100E..all purchased from Ace Classic Cars. Everyone of these cars have been superb!..reliable and worth the money..but more importantly..they have always been accurately described and always returned the same money if not a slight profit when moved on.This dealership is without doubt the best I have dealt with....buy with confidence

Without prejudice. Would i buy from them again, No and I should have known better than ask for a detailed description without someone independent viewing the car in my absence. whilst the transaction was tidy and the car was delivered on time as agreed, when the car got delivered, the description was in my opinion not quite as first described. The car ran like a dog and was over fueling and mis-firing, the drivers door didn't open, the instrument clock didn't work, the instrument lights didn't work, the radio didn't work, the passenger window didn't work, the heater is constantly on blowing exhaust gases through the car due to the over fueling, the thermostat gauge didn't work, the rear roller covering boot luggage didn't work and a rubber was missing from the boot lock. The car was an 80s car and yes things do pack up but not one of these issues were said when i asked for a detailed description and I personally would have expected these issues to have been highlighted when dealing with a company who sells cars across the globe via verbal descriptions. My advise is do not go via a verbal summary of a car or the very shiny photo as in my case you could feel very disappointed and better off to either pay someone £500 to visit and check it out or go test yourself if logistically possible. And yes I did give the boss of the garage a call to see if he wished to offer something for my disappointment but no offer was given apart from I shall ask my staff to let me know of such issues in the future?
