The app for getting your account set up is all useless less. It crashes all the time. The staff are as helpful as they can be which given they know nothing about the app or their own computers is again useless. Barclays should close all

Would give zero if I could. Been a customer over 30 years, have multiple accounts, tried to open a business account and told 2 month wait for appointment and spoken to like a beggar that's walked in off the street. Will find a different bank for the business account and then change all my accounts over. Bye Barclays

I went to NatWest to pay in a cheque only to find it had closed at 1pm. I had banked with Barclays for 30 years until I stupidly switched last year, seduced by the perks that NatWest then withdrew 8 months after I switched. I have regretted leaving ever since, not just because of the perks .... Anyway 3 Months ago I opened another current account with Barclays.Barclays had longer opening hours than NatWest. I'm leaving this review as the man who was in charge of the queue at 1330 on 14th May 2020. ( should of taken his name but he was a black guy) well he was fantastic and gave great service. Meant I could do what I needed with no fuss or drama. It's great to be back with Barclays.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Went in to close my account, told to wait for appointment upstairs. One person was ahead of me. Waited for about an hour, nobody came in or out during that time. Tried to book an appointment via their telephone number - seems to be a call centre in India. Told that she was not able to book appointments at that branch at the moment - it’s the main Town Centre branch!! Unable to give zero stars!!!

Banks generally have used covid as an excuse to close down branches and cut hours of the few that remain open to a minimum, meaning people like me who actually work can't visit only on a Saturday morning for which l need to make a special journey into town only to stand in a huge queue because all the others close on Saturday!I am seriously in mind to change my bank to one which takes these problems into consideration. Very dissatisfied customer !

My partner and I visited Barclays Drapery for some information regards an account which my partner holds.Well, where to start,Arrived 14.20Informed we would have to wait 30 mins to see someoneName takenTold to sit down and wait we could not leave and return in 30 minutes, as adviser may become available soonerAfter 20 mins still not seen by anyoneNumerous people waitingAt least 2 other customers In front of usCustomer gets up and asks how much longer, he states he has been waiting over 1 hrHe is informed it should not be too much longerHe then asks how many staff do you have on ?Response 2 but 1 is on lunchMy partner and I leave, our time is precious.Why was our time seen as considerably less valuable than those we pay to do a serviceWhy could we not leave and return in 20 minsConsidering 1 customer was waiting over 1 hour, how was the wait time of 30 minutes calculatedCustomer came in 5 mins after us and was told there is a 40-minute wait, how was this calculatedWhilst waiting, an elderly customer came in and asked if they could get changeThe response was yes but only 4 poundsThen the elderly customer was asked what they wanted change for in a condescending mannerThe elderly customer responded, to pay for thingsSurely the customer should not be asked in this mannerWhilst i understanding there is a duty of care to look out for vulnerable customers, one asking for change does not appear to meet those criteriaIn recent visits to both Lloyd's and Coventry Building Society the Customer Service was very good and it disappointing the service did not meet their standardswhilst my partner has a sense of loyalty to Barclays its become apparent this is not being reciprocatedSo now the look for a new service provider is on the menuOverall customer service score 0/10This visit spoilt my birthday, well I won't forget it
