I’ve been buying suits here for 20 years plus. I live in Nottingham now but still buy suits here when visiting. I’m a lawyer, so need a good suit and a good fit. Probably the main thing which sets Matthew’s apart is the advice and help in choosing the suit. Always helpful and brilliantly polite and friendly. Keep it up.

There's nowhere else I can buy a suit that fits me so well and matches my preferences so well as here. I paid high street prices but got Saville Row service. It's a level of understanding and knowledge that's very very rare indeed these days. Other places might be able to tell me that they have that in a different colour or size, but here they can put their hands to the suit that's just right for me. I'm not usually a huge fan of clothes shopping, but the politeness, the ability, the helpfulness and the fit made this a very happy experience indeed. I can't think of a shop anywhere I've been that compares.

The knowledge and customer experience in Matthews is exceptional. I went in for a smart woollen overcoat and was in awe of the service I received; it could have quite easily been a Saville Row tailors. This is now my go to shop for smart/smart casual menswear. These kind of shops are few and far between and being a local business, they need the support of the local community.

Very, very good service for fitting a suit, prom evening for a teenager for example. Excellent knowledge on what colors go with the prom date and what doesn't, but always listening out for what the customer wants too. It feels like the good old way"

At last, trousers that fit my mature shape and don't cause my voice to rise by a couple of octaves when I sit down. Expensive but excellent quality, so worth every penny.Also, great service from people in possession of a clue or two.
