We had Rory McCreesh working as our conveyancer however we only ever received correspondence from Laura Phillips on behalf of Rory. This would have been fine but the communication on our case was shocking. There would be times when we wouldn’t have received any communication for days so we would contact the firm to ask what was happening, they’d tell us an issue and we’d sort it for them in a couple of phone calls within the hour. We also felt that completion was delayed due to a lack of understanding with how life time isa’s work. As first time buyers we had a rough idea of what needed to happen to get the process done but when it came to completion we were asked to close down the lifetime isa’s ourselves. I believe it is fairly common knowledge so should be daily practise for a conveyancer to know how a lifetime Isa works and the withdrawal process that needs to take place solely by the conveyancer. To conclude, Kevin Lane & co got the house move over the line but it felt like pulling teeth at times and was not an easy process at all - I would personally avoid going forwards.

My sale went through without issue, however there were difficult decisions to be made as my onward purchase fell through, but Rory was transparent, supportive, and readily available for advice throughout. The knowledge and insight provided helped provide perspective on a situation I was out of my depth with, and I'm glad I chose not to proceed in the end. Exceptionally reasonable fees given the amount of time and support provided throughout my cases. Thank you again to all.

Good service from Rory, the file was moving slow initially but Rory has been a great help and will definitely be using these guys again on future buy to let purchase. Overall, good and speedy service.

A very similar experience to Will D. Constantly failing to communicate effectively or frequently enough, none of them care and it's reflected in inadequate customer service. They got the job done but very glad to be done with them.
