Oakedge Shooting Ground
Shot here again, having previously visited back in January 2023. It is a fabulous ground. Where can you go these days and pay £1 for a tea/coffee and its delivered on a tray with a jar of milk and a basket containing biscuits? The ground is well laid out, safety is preserved with a good selection of targets that utilise the variables of speed, angle and distance to good effect and make use of the terrain too. This is a very good ground, despite being a good 90 minutes for me, I will be back.

I got recommend Oakedge Shooting Ground by a friend to host one of our social events.. hosting for 9 of us, very clean, professional and welcoming. The instructors are excellent and very helpful. It was brilliant and can not recommend OSG enough. Will definitely be returning, cheers.

Oakedge Shooting Ground
Did the clay experience and can’t recommend enough! The staff were so friendly and the whole place was very welcoming. I’ve been to other shooting grounds in the past where you don’t feel welcome but all the members were friendly and made you feel “part of the club”. Our coach Andy was really friendly and took time to talk us through every aspect of shooting and made sure we had a really good time.

Oakedge Shooting Ground
Shot here for the first time today. 100 sporting practice, some challenging targets but not overly so. Clay charges about average for the grounds I use. Nicely laid out, helpful lady behind the counter, picturesque setting. No waiting on any of the stands either (Tuesday).An hours drive from my house but will use again, thoroughly enjoyed.

Oakedge Shooting Ground
Just been for our first visit to Oakedge, and first time shooting clays. We had a great time, 3 of us had 25 cartridges each and it was plenty. Ian, our host was fantastic, really made the shoot enjoyable.

Oakedge Shooting Ground
I moved from Essex to Staffordshire and have been searching for a new clay ground. I've tried a few very good places that I can find very few faults with. However this place is brilliant!Loved every stand, even though the clays refused to get in the way of my shot most of the day.5 stars all day long. How anyone could find fault is beyond me.Please, please give this place a try if you haven't.You won't be disappointed.

Had a fantastic time under the brilliant supervision of Andy, who is a great tutor, he was really patient and made the whole experience enjoyable as it was raining heavily. This is definitely not just a mens sport...ladies give it a try.

Excellent shoot run by fantastic team. Targets are changed on a regular basis. Have shot at a lot of grounds in UK and abroad and lucky to have this ground less than 30 mins away.

Lovely friendly people in well maintained grounds. A good choice of stands with different levels of shooting ability . A wide range of ages and new and professonals enjoying a day out. Well worth a visit.
