First time here, friendly staff, good atmosphere, and food we had (ciabattas and cheesy chips) was really tasty. Would love to come back here again

I first went to the Denbigh in the eighties and of course, they’ve changed hands I don’t have a clue how many times, that is owners or management. However, one thing for certain is it remains a highly valued local pub.The inside hasn’t changed much but maybe I just don’t remember but who cares. It is a great place to socialize with friends. Over the years they've really updated the patio. It is a very pleasing outdoor space. And don’t fret in those awkward spring or autumn weather cuz they have heaters outside!!!Service was friendly and attentive last time I went and the food was very good!!!I highly recommend this pub for a quick bite with family or get together with friends!!!

Disappointed thought would be nice friendly welcoming pub. The atmosphere was so disgraceful you could cut a knife through it, I felt so unwanted and uncomfortable. When you walk in nobody says hello, and on the way out nobody says bye. Sandwich was cheap rubbish, for £8 at least buy decent bread! The crusts were cut off which was probably mouldy. Also very dirty. Definitely won’t be returning.

I have a feeling this is the pub I stopped at during my big driving in the UK" adventure back in July... the rental car company gave me a Mercedes and I had ZERO idea how to read the gas gauge and was afraid I needed to refuel ASAP. The gentleman serving in the dining room/bar kindly came outside to help a very scared American gal trying to make her way to the coast. Many

This is a great local pub with a brilliant chef! We visited for the first time today, I was a little unsure as the pub itself is a typical English pub, lots of memorabilia hanging around and old dated furniture But small things such as cushions made it surprisingly comfortable. My husband was worried that as it had an A la carte menu, the portions would be tiny. We ordered the steak and kidney pudding and duck and advacado salad. The duck was crispy, a little too much sauce but certainly didn't ruin the dish. Loaded with advacado, mixed salad leaves tomatoes and shredded cucumber. The steak and kidney pudding came with lots of seasonal veg and creamy mash and gravy. The portions were very generous. The desert menu needs updating, one item was crossed out and something else hand written in at the bottom. We ordered the meringue with mixed berries and the chocolate brownie. Brownie tasted of chocolate (some dont) was warm and moist and the ice cream was smooth and good quality. There was a small biscuit on the top that was a little out of place and didn't go with the dish, but so small it didn't matter. There was one member of staff behind the bar, she was very polite and helpful.Over all a fab dinner and chilled out environment, a little bexhill gem.

First visit to the Denbigh yesterday for lunch. Lovely friendly staff and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. I had the curry of the day which was amazing. Best pub curry I’ve ever had by far. So fragrant with lemongrass. Incredible. Will be back for sure. Loads of parking and outside space too x

Went for Sunday lunch and had the medley roast. A generous portion of quality meat, and a nice selection of vegetables. Would definitely have this again. One suggestion, it would be great if the medley came with the gravy on the side rather than already on the plate. Different people like different quantities of gravy!Great service , lots of nice indoor and outdoor seating areas both covered and uncovered. Interesting looking menu in addition to the Sunday roast menu. We will definitely be back.

Had a nice quiet drink in the afternoon in the new smoking area, (although we don't smoke). Lots of outside seating areas in the sunshine. Lovely host.
