Excess Baggage Company

Shocking, disgusting and outrageous service. Left my bag on a train. Tracked in to Manchester Piccadilly. Paid for a ticket to collect it, was then charged a £20 release fee for ‘overnight storage’. Had no choice other than it being taken there. Station, company and avanti should be ashamed, basically theft during a cost of living crises. Would give minus stars if I could

I am extremely surprised and relieved. I accidentally left my backpack, which contained my laptop and other valuables worth approximately £3K, on a Northern train travelling from Stoke-on-Trent to Manchester Piccadilly.I only realized this when I boarded another train heading towards the airport. Unfortunately, there was no way for me to go back at that point, and so I made calls to all possible contacts. The company reached out the next morning to inform me that they had found my backpack. I sent my parents to pick it up, they paid a small fee of £5, and successfully retrieved my lost backpack!Thank you so much!

Went 2 mins over 3 hours got charged for 4…..anti customer service….no humanity in this company policy

I had issues with my delivery but i sent 1 mail and The operator Samanta Tooth was sort my problem in no Time, she reply super fast, sorted my issue super fast.

staff friendly and apologetic that x raying my suitcase took a bit and needed an inspection. a bit pricey (7.50 for 3 hours) but still fine

Amazing lost property experience with these lovely people- as well as storing left luggage they look after all the stuff handed in from trains and left around the station. Incredibly helpful with the bag we left on an Avanti train. Made our day.

Missed my train cause they went for a cig. Annoying as promised a officiant service for £9 for a 5 hour bag hold.. quite steep. frustrating and actually called police on a group of 3 who were quite rightly explaining they had to buy a hotel because of this..

Extremely expensive, thieves! And really rude! Do not use that place!
