Really co-operative and prompt. I was really pleasently surprised considering the previous reviews. They replied to our emails within thirty odd minutes and gave us clear instructions. The Vice Consul was very gracious and assisted us in a fashion that was beyond anything we ever expected

I have never met such a rude person over the phone in any embassy of any country that I have ever visited in my entire lifetime. First of all I was on the phone for at least two hours, then the phone was answered then just placed on the side. I kept saying hello hello with no response, I called again waited for at least an hour then the phone got answered by someone who had no idea what I was even talking about, no information on their visa no t even listening to my questions just abruptly answered what I wasn’t even asking, he then passed the phone to a guy who was so rude, told me to email I told him I did but I’ve not gotten any response for 5days now, he told me he is doing me a favour to even give me 2 minutes on the phone as the phone is strictly for Moroccan citizens. And just said bye talking over me without listening then hung up. Highly disappointed and very unprofessional bunch.

The first trip was very chill, and I went to apply for my ID in july. It only took 3 weeks to be made. However, due to a bit of chaos in my life, l wasn't able to collect it till last week, and they still had it. It took less than 20 minutes to collect, and they were very understanding. The area was cool and very nice compared to the heat outside. The people were polite and helpful.

Yesterday, on August 31, 2023, I flew from Edinburgh with the aim of applying for consulate registration, passport renewal, and ID renewal. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, but I was called in at 11:30 AM. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly, from start to finish. All the staff members were highly efficient at resolving people’s issues, and some even went above and beyond their usual duties to make our lives easier. I had forgotten an envelope, but they kindly offered to wait for me, which took me about 25 minutes to retrieve. I did make some mistakes during the process, but the staff was there to assist and correct them. They explained the timeline for receiving my ID, and the person who took my fingerprints was a true gentleman, as was the person in the white shirt. I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised that everything was sorted out in just half an hour, allowing me to return to Edinburgh on the same day. If there were a ten-star rating, I would have gladly given it. Thank you all for your exceptional assistance; you make us proud.

Wearing a bloody tie and suits don't make them any professional as they don't know how to speak to the customers nicely. Don't ever answer a phone call drove 3 hrs they saying to email. But never respons to a email.

If I could give 0 I would! I went to get an ID and I encountered the most disrespectful worker I have ever seen. The level of customer service is horrible and the way he spoke to me and my daughter was extremely rude. I came all the way from Birmingham and I booked and appointment and I called twice to make sure I was bringing the right documents however when I got there they asked for different documents that I of course didn’t have and they were so quick to get rid of us and we left without understanding anything. On top of that they said they were just making us a favour by doing normal paper work and that they had no reason to answer any of our questions or make the ID card because ‘ they are protected by law’.

It was very warm welcome to the Embassy, and everything went very smoothly. The staff were very helpful and friendly.Thank you very much for sorting out my 3 different applications in one morning. Also, the staff advised us to use the mail to receive our documents when ready to collect instead of travelling again to Embassy.Keep up the hard work.

After seeing all the comments, I also assumed my experience would be difficult but it was not. It was very warm and welcoming experience for me. I did not call or email as I saw lots of bad review so turn up in person and it was not difficult at all.I would understand the frustration when you do not find reception person not fluent in English but it does not hurt if we ourselves can make an effort (Just get google translate out on your phone and translate to Arabic and show to person).Just a bit wait and person came to me who could speak English came and explained me the whole process. Just got tourism visa on a same day although it was not premium service which after instruction all online and done it with ease.Just saying, it was very pleasant and not bad at all that all these reviews are reflecting.
