Purchased a used Focus estate from this place in Dec 2019. THe guy I dealt with called himself Matt. The car had just been given a fresh MOT with zero advisories, and I had a three hundred mile return journey ahead of me that night, on dark wintry, salted, roads. So it was rather astonishing to discover that the wipers were incapable of clearing the screen, and that the screen washer pump was dead. I was forced to break my journey in a hotel because the car was too dangerous to drive in the snow. When my own mechanic had a good look at the car we also found that the female wheel stud threads in one front hub had been stripped, and copper wire had been wound around the studs to stop the wheel from parting company with the vehicle. There were a number of other unroadworthy faults too. However the costs of suing this cowboy outfit outweighed the costs of fixing the car properly. I have waited long enough to call a spade a spade, but I'm now pleased to see plenty of other people have formed an equally low opinion of Greenwing Motors. Get anything they are selling inspected by an independent expert, because these clowns operate at the level of a chop shop. Never trust any MOT they pedal with cars either, they have a tame and very myopic vehicle tester in their pocket.

I traveled 310 miles all round trip to view an Audi A3 S-line!! when speaking to Matt on the phone he assured the car was in fine condition and that i would not be disappointed even after i explained i appraise cars for a living. I took his word and he then took my deposit. I traveled up the following day. To my surprise, the car was full of chips all over the bonnet. 100's of them! & the roof had been resprayed horribly. when I pointed these issues out and reminded him of the conversation we had the day before. He refused point blank anything was actually wrong with the paint work? - I said he did not have any idea of the true condition of the car at all, he was not allowing any more money off the car to allow for these issues to be corrected (respray). I then asked for a refund to which his wife started to become aggressive. I managed to obtain the refund which i was more than entitled too. complete waste of a day. please don't put yourself in a position where you are travelling long distance here - you will be disappointed. AVOID ! - from a 100% genuine customer, every word a fact and completely honest. The whole point of why reviews like this should exist in the public domain to give the real truth about bad non regulated companies!!

Complete scam artists, ripped my younger sister off on a Volvo. Paperwork forged with service history etc, allegedly just been serviced yet there was no oil in it. When she took the car back, on her own, they became very threatening towards her and would not let her leave. This place is the reason used car dealers get a bad reputation. If you want a good quality used car steer clear from here. MOT document was also highly questionable as there were numerous issues with the car yet it had just passed an MOT with no advisories.

Avoid at all costs. Me and my partner tried to buy a car off this dealership" and ended up waiting on a car being delivered due to failed MOT day of delivery so we waited and then the car was delivered and within 3 miles we had an engine management light come on. After speaking with them they asked us to take it to local garage to be repaired and they will pay so we payed for a diagnostic which stated it could be anything due to the fault so we rejectec the car and lost the money for the diagnostic as they refused to pay for it after weforwarded them the report. So long story short they sell broken cars

This company is disgusting.Sold me a£9285 car, with no oil or break fluid, 2 buckled wheels, And service light Came on same day. All reported the same day, the company authorised paying the service and getting the wheels sorted then refused while the car was in warranty.I’m a disabled mother who lives rurally.The company is dishonest. For £330 worth of work they lied and refused to honour the warranty.Do NOT deal with this disgusting, dishonest company.This is just brief too. There was several lies in the advertisement itself.... integrity and truth are everything. You aren’t going to get this with this company.I wish I could share correspondence from this not so professional company. Stay clear

I bought a car for Matt at Greenwing Motors just before Christmas and I have been really happy with the service provided. We initially saw the car on Autotrader and went to see it in person. Matt was very polite and professional and clearly knew his stuff. We were put at ease and at no point felt pressured which is all too common in lots of car showrooms these days. There was a small job needed on the car which was clearly outlined upfront and the offer was made to put it right as soon as the parts could be ordered. This work was done today with no hassle. We are delighted with the car we bought and would highly recommend Greenwing.

Can't fault Greenwing motors in the slightest.I purchased a Fiat 500 that was advertised on Auto Trader. I was driving up from Birmingham so wanted a bit more information on the car before I set off. I contacted Kev who was more than happy to help out. The car was exactly as advertised and ready to test drive when I arrived.There was no hard sell, no pressure to make a decision, and I was left to check the car over.Once I decided I wanted to buy, I was directed into the lovely showroom to do the boring bits. The lady who did all the paperwork was really nice and had everything done and dusted in 20 minutes.Overall this was a really positive experience.

It's been a few months since I bought a car from them and no issues except for cd player error which is quite common on older cars. I have been to A LOT of different car lots looking to buy a car and Greenwing was by far the best experience. Saw the car, went for a test drive, got given a cuppa, bought it and drove away with it. As easy as that. Would definitely go back :)

Rarely leave reviews but I 100% recommend Matt at Greenwing Motors. Car buying can be risky but I knew I was buying a genuine car.Few months later and I recently found a (common) issue with it that was no longer under manufacturer's warranty nor Greenwings but Matt has still arranged to have it fixed at his cost. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a genuine and decent car sales company. Thanks again Matt!
