John has looked after our terrier for 5 years. He really takes time to understand your dog & was kind & considerate with him. He provides great care & takes them on stimulating walks. I will always think fondly of seeing his pack sitting patiently in a row in the park whilst he trained them to pay attention. Brilliant. Thoroughly recommend and trust John for dog walking.

John at Priory Dogs was recommended to me by my excellent trainer. John was very patient with my excitable young jack russell, taking the time to build up trust before walking him. John also boarded my jr - who always returned happy, calm and relaxed. It’s wonderful to go away on holiday knowing that your dog is being so well taken care of.

Our beloved Labrador, Evie has been with Priory Dogs for over 10 years and we are extremely happy with the service provided. You get much more than simple dog walking thanks to the extensive training they have undertaken and the care taken to understand each dog. Every aspect of the dog is considered, ensuring their brains are engaged, they get to safely play, exercise and be part of a balanced pack. We’ve used many dog walkers over the years but John really was the best. Incredibly sympathetic to our dog Bernie, who has abandonment issues. John understood him from the start. Bernie even got dog massages! John always went above and beyond. We miss him.

John has become an integral part of our family.He has been walking Bailey since she was a puppy. She was not very well trained and John has not only walked her but also given her the training we had failed to.She is now extremely responsive, calm and a beautiful dog. That is down to John.He couldn’t take his role more seriously. Totally reliable. Researching lovely places to take the dogs - keeping an eye on any medical issues or dog alerts within the wider community and generally seeing the job as way more than just walking the dog.He also has a beautiful dog Annie - who is fabulous with Bailey. Bailey is going to miss her so much.John has been so kind over the years - such a patient listener to anything that is troubling us - and has always been fabulous with our children.He has always had a key - is totally trusted - let’s himself in and out with Bailey - and always cleans her after a muddy walk.It is going to very hard, after seven years, to find anyone remotely like John to take his place - his kindness and care and professionalism is almost one of a kind.We will all miss him hugely.Bailey the most.
