Great good club at the top of the park. There’s a beautiful rose garden where family can relax on the grass, picnic and play or sit at the picnic tables relaxing, eating and enjoying taking in your beautiful surroundings. The park leads down through the woods to the leeds - Liverpool canal with breathtaking views and beautiful walks. There’s a lively little play park that never gets too crowded and parking on the roadside. The for the most part Gotts Park can be enjoyed by anyone and everyone wether using buggy’s, bikes or wheelchairs.Dog friendly park with plenty off poop bins I place to help keep the park free of dog mess

A little gem of a golf course just on the outskirts off Leeds town centre. And the club house is 100%better due to the improvements of the toilets both ladies and gents also the new disabled toilet and much needed front of house pro shop and coffee seating area

This place is a gem for dog walkers. So peaceful and stunning. Plenty of parking, cafe inside (don't think they allow pooches) lovely rose garden. Nice walks along the canal are optional.

It was a lovely area but I was extremely mortified by the children of some of the members of the golf club. Extremely arrogant, pompous and disgustingly disrespectful. Me and my partner got lost as we searched for the manor and following the advice from a local we were directed to follow a foot path and walk towards the manor. Upon starting our small trek we encountered 4 children ranging from 7 - 10 who were screaming obscenities to us and launched a golf ball towards our heads (intended assault). The boys then began to follow us to the manor still shouting potty mouth words at us and threatening us with their golf clubs (that I’m assuming ‘papa’ gave them). It was not until I had threatened to call the police that the boys laid off. I was left feeling completely terrified - and some may laugh and think as grown ups how could you be afraid of children - but it’s an extremely dangerous situation when as an unarmed civilians you are threatened with metal golf sticks and shown this intent to harm by having a golf ball launched at one’s head it becomes very clear that you are vulnerable . This was truly upsetting and disappointing, that these children were raised in an environment where they were not taught to be respectful of others and mind their own business.I would heartily implore the golf club owners to ensure that children are not left unattended on their fields to harass and taunt elderly folk looking to enjoy their timeNever again

Good people play there and deserve more support from owners, Leeds City Council. The course has some lovely views over the city, but due to being open parkland to the public, the course suffers. The greens are very slow and could easily be improved.Great to see the clubhouse being used. A lovely old place. After match catering was delicious.Come on Leeds! This place could be a little treasure. Support this sport and you will be rewarded.

Good people and good staff course is let down by dog walkers and people who treat the course like a motorbike track , shame really

This place is Grass Roots Golf at its Core one of only three Municipal courses left in Leeds which the council want to close .Over the years the place has been subject to vandalism on the course but due to the hard work of the Greenstaff and members it keeps bouncing back ,Golf should be available to all no matter what your Postcode let's lose the Elitness Golf portrays and invest in keeping these Grass Root venues open for the people of Leeds for future generations to come . Please people support this Golf club it has a lovely layout which tests your Golf skills to the Max although short you could easily rack up a high score so respect is the Key word. I have to mention the Clubhouse staff who couldn't have been nicer over the phone and whilst checking in .Cracking little clubhouse area for a lovely Coffee after your game post mortem brilliant thank you Gotts Park and Leeds for cracking afternoons game of Golf.

Nice course close to Leeds - Very good value for money and despite not being long offers a good challenge with varied holes and uphill/downhill shots - Greens are interestingly shaped and in nice condition, rolling true

Tough course, very unforgiving, but interesting. About 5 or 6 of the greens have been vandalised recently, hard worked volunteer staff are struggling to repair.Dog walkers and the general public totally disregard the requirements not to walk across the course, putting themselves, their children and their dogs in danger.Good thing about Gotts is that it drains freely and so is playable when many nearby clubs are closed.Fees are very reasonable and they try hard to promote themselves as the all-inclusive club that they are. Golf is for everyone! The groundsmen & office staff try hard to keep the course in good condition.
