Wonderfully managed animal rescue center with many opportunities to interact with the animals. Alison has created a welcoming and educational experience for both kids and adults. Make sure you visit when you come to Sanquhar!

A super animal sanctuary, the animals all looked well cared for, a little gem in Sanquhar. Dogs allowed in leads. Please make a donation. It maybe helpful to have a QR code to make an easy online donation, as some visitors do not have cash with them.

What a lovely hidden gem. Well worth a visit if your passing by or looking for something to do. Quite a few different animals and can get quite close to them.

I found this place absolutely inspiring. I felt privileged to find out more about Clark and feel all the love his family and friends have for him. It's as if his beautiful soul is all around the place, filling it with laughter. My 22 month old loved looking at the animals and playing in the brilliant playground while I was enjoying the stunning views. This is a visit that I will remember all my life.

Clarks Little Ark
Wonderful place with an incredible story and ethos. The Ark was set up in memory of the owner's son and is named after him and now provides a wonderful tribute to the boy who loved animals. Young kids will love seeing the donkeys, goats, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits, ponies but the highlight for everyone is the legend that is Percy Pig.
