Katz Whiskerz

Cats we're well looked after, brilliant service and good setting and environment. The owner is a cat owner and cared for our cats like they were her own. Lots of space and toys for them to play with and they came back smelling clean. We have had issues with other places that just use news paper and the cats smell bad when they come home but Katz whiskerz use decent litter and the spaces are kept clean and tidy. Will definitely be using again when we go on our next holiday.

This truly is a 5* hotel for your cat with superb comfort and security. The owners are a pleasure to deal with. Probably, the best in the country.

Suzanne and Kev are just wonderful; completely trustworthy, knowledgeable, VERY experienced, patient, kind, and accommodating. I’ve been reluctant to use a cattery before, but seeing how much care and affection they pour on their residents makes it a home from home for my cat. I didn’t have to provide any food or treats or toys, as everything is included, and the regular photographic updates are a wonderful souvenir, and reassurance.Thank You!

We have been using Katz Whiskerz for 6 years. Suzanne and Kevin have always been amazing with our 'babies'. They are rescue cats and can get quite anxious but they always come home well groomed, well fed and relaxed. Highly recommended Katz Whikerz!

Not sure what or how much our cat ate, sent 6 tins of food and he returned with 4 cans. He wasn’t given any of the treats we gave for him either, all returned unopened.We felt quite judged by the owners, when turning up with our cat in a harness she said how she hates it when people do that, regardless of the fact our cat hates carriers and is good as gold on a harness. When we picked him up we had a lecture on how our harness wasn’t good enough, even though the type they recommended was ripped apart by our cat when we tried it in the past. At the end of the day it’s our cat, we know what works best for him after a lot of trial and error!It wasn’t a very welcoming atmosphere, there was no small talk, we walked to and from the cattery in total silence. There was no reassurance my cat would be fine, no questions, nothing. When collecting my cat apart from hello the guy actually didn’t say a single word the entire time, the only thing the lady said was when I went to pick my cat up off the shelf, that he ‘can get down himself’ and then how I couldn’t take him out until the harness was on (fair enough but I don’t need to be told this), then how the harness wasn’t good enough (it is, we haven’t had an issue in the 2 years we have used it). Other than hello and goodbye that was literally it, nothing about how my cat had got on etc. it was all very odd.Place didn’t smell nice, and our cat barely had any litter in his box. Will not be returning.Pros: Liked that there were individual heaters in each room and our cat had a nice window to look out of.

I always felt my lovely ginger boy Tizer (RIP 1/8/2020) was so well cared for at your cat hotel and would feel he had excellent luxury lodgings..sorry for such a late review but it was much appreciated with all you did for him.

Have used Katz Whiskerz for 4 years now and it’s my go to place, even with a 2 hr drive each way. Suzanne & Kevin are lovely and really caring towards the cats and treat them like their own. The facilities are top notch and modern. Would absolutely recommend.

Best place to take your cats when you go holiday. Amazing owners. They really do care for them. They keep you Updated with photos that they put up on their FB page. (obviously no tags) The area that the cats live in looks cosy and very clean and very well looked after. Truely amazing. I would go or trust any where else.
