We couldn't be happier!We are so pleased with our new wood burner, it only took a day install, despite fitting the flu straight up through the roof. The staff in the shop are so helpful and talked us through the entire process. We would highly recommend Durham Stoves and Fireplaces.

We popped into the showroom at Durham Stoves and Fireplaces back in October 22. They have a fabulous display with all the variations you can do. Anne in the showroom was extremely helpful walked us through the process and sure enough before leaving we had reserved our installation date and booked the survey.The office is extremely through and making sure you understand the process and what the next steps will be. Derrick came out to do the survey he checked everything over got his measurements and that was it.On the morning of installation the guys turned up fully prepared with extra dust sheets all there own bits and pieces to get the job done. They were all very nice and respectful to our home. It took them 2 days to get it sorted and it's looks fantastic.Since having the burner fitted it's been used a lot and definitely a good choice.Price I give them 5 starsQuality 5 starsService 5 starsIf you are looking to get a log burner these are the people to talk to.Thanks guys

We had a stove fitted in 2020 and in 2022, one of the plates attached to the fire board came loose. Contacted Durham stoves to discuss this issue as I felt there should have been some steel wall plugs to secure the screws in to avoid this - I notified them of this and the contacted me back two weeks later and said they will do nothing with it being out of warranty.When buying such an expensive and solid piece of equipment you don’t want it breaking within two years, I have had another company look over the work and they also agreed that this has been installed quickly rather than thoroughly.Edited - moved up to 2 stars as the staff were knowledgeable and pleasant during the process.I would not recommend

I Requested a survey and quotation which was carried out very quickly and efficiently, gave impartial advice and at no time did I feel under any sales pressure as against a previous company who wanted to condemn the stove and sell us a new one. The engineer was very friendly and helpful, he put our concerns about the stove in the house that we had just moved into.The quotation arrived the next working day and I was pleasantly surprised, we confirmed that we wished to go ahead with the work, this was done within 14 days and completed in one day.The fitters arrived on time and did an excellent job, clearing up their mess and left nothing behind.I would have no hesitation in recommending Durham Stoves and Fireplaces to anyone including my family and friends.Overall a first class and competitive service.

I can't recommend this company enough. Right from my first steps in the showroom through to after work completed.I would like to thank everyone involved in making my idea of having a wood burner installed become a wonderful reality.The results speak for themselves . Thank you again.
