Halfords McConechys Glasgow Autocentre
Did MOT + full service here. They recommended to replace the front brake cluster (= pad + disc) so I let them. However, now my car sounds continuously squeaky and screechy whenever I brake since (it's been over a month now). Worse yet, they haven't sent me the online receipt I requested on the spot.

Put my car in for an MOT and it failed on 1 genuine item and multiple other things that were fine once inspected after the test by myself.Would not recommend this garage at all, I won't be back, that is for sure.

I have always gone here for as long as I remember to get my tyres. They gave first class service as McConechys and it is still the same knowledgeable and attentive staff. Halfords now but nothing has changed in the level of care and attention.

Very easy online booking. Helpful and friendly staff. MOT completed on time and I received a call advising it was ready straight after. All advisories explained. Very happy.

Never again. Two tyres replaced earlier in the year. Now transpires budget ones were used rather than premium paid for. Hadn't realised but clearly they saw an opportunity, as another reviewer has said, maybe because I'm female. 8 months later, the MOT advisories indicate that the tyres were in no way new at the time of fitting.Now makes me think the additional work they phoned to say was needed as part of the free" brake check was also nonsense. Won't be using them again and would strongly advise to avoid."

Excellent service at reasonable prices. Once again my MOT was done and I left with good advice from the mechanic. I will be getting me service in March.
