I've had several interactions with this this Post Office during the absurdly busy Christmas season, and every one has been wonderful. Today, Amy helped me. Her adorable penguin jumper put an immediate smile on my face, as did her cheery welcome and helpful demeanour. (This Post Office's staff seem to take great pride in their happy holiday jumpers!) Nothing was too much trouble for Amy; she carefully helped pack, weigh, price, enter into the computer, and go through some rather tedious requirements without ever breaking her joyful attitude. She helped with other, more routine matters, as well, and seemed genuinely happy to be as near a Christmas elf as we have here!This is consistent with my other visits to this Post Office. From the minute I've entered to when I've left, there have been kind people to help me figure out what I need to ensure the best postal service at the very best price, and nothing ever seems like too much trouble. When someone is working with you, they give you their full attention -- no helping five people at once, shortchanging all. They are consistently focused, methodical, and thoughtful, diligent, very knowledgeable, and helpful, and I am grateful for all this post office's staff, especially during such a busy time of year!

Paul in the Cambridge office is a real credit to the organisation. He's very knowledgeable, very polite and has helped us on many occasions very successfully and quickly. I wish everyone was just like him.

Excellent service over the counter.Sarah was an absolute delight to deal with and she went the extra mile to help us on two occasions.

They were so lovely it was late afternoon and opened a desk especially so I could get my driving licence done. Sarah was very kind - thank you

I have great experiences with the post office staff, Aga and Karen, they were so kind to explain for me and also help me to cut down the cost by half. I sent some beads which only as light as 8gr but cost £16 for postage and with their help, I only had to pay £9, really appreciated

It is usually very busy and takes a lot of time to get your turn. Facilities wise good, a one place shop for anything postage.

Needed to send a couple of passport applications off. With it being Christmas time, the post office was very busy. Although it was busy, the wait (thankfully) wasn't too long.The staff member was helpful and polite. She went through my application professionally.I should really start looking at doing my passport applications online. Because it's very expensive, especially if you're applying for more than one passport. I think it's unfair for each application, a separate check and send fee is applied. It literally takes less than 2 minutes, but at a cost of just under £20. I always use the check and send for peace of mind. However there shouldn't be separate fees.The post office is situated right in the middle of town. Which is near to the bus station.

This post office resembles a jungle, people cutting in the (long) queue, staff running around due to understaffing, and a general feeling of chaos. They send you a notification saying that your package is ready to be picked up but once you arrive be prepared to wait 20+ minutes because they're still sorting it out"."

Amy at Cambridge City centre branch was exceptionally friendly, helpful & went out of her way to assist me with a problem I had. I genuinely cannot thank her enough for her professionalism & willingness to help with my parcel problem! I’ve left a very happy customer & she has restored my faith in the Royal Mail. What an asset to your Cambridge team!
