Ordered a cardigan in JUNE 2021..... now were in OCTOBER and still no cardigan. little communication when they told me they were struggling to get stock due the pandemic. As soon as i tell them i want a refund they stop replying to my emails. Absolutely shocking customer services.

Never written a review before but this place has the worst service ever so had to! We all know they take advantage and put prices high on school clothes as there is very little competition but then there lack of communication is ridiculous. almost 5 months to wait on a school jumper! communicated to me via text initially too. lot of time wasted just trying to get a school jumper.

Poor customer service. Had called prior to booked appointment to ask if two adults could accompany and was told it wasn't a problem now we are after 19th July and Covid restrictions were lifted. Turned up and was rudely told only one adult. I went elsewhere was immediately served with two adults accompanying the child with no issues. Will not return to this shop in the future, other suppliers will get my business

Be warned, I am still yet to receive my order over three weeks from ordering on line when everything was in stock".Unable to book an appointment to visit store through all of August and September.If you need uniform order with months to spare. Yet to see and uniform with 2 days to go.Shameful!"

If I could give less I would. The customer service is shocking. Purchased all uniform for high school, but they didn't have the ties in when I went in July. I phoned up 3 weeks after as I didn't have any communication from the shop to say they had arrived. Went to the shop to pick the ties up and a member of staff was sat on the windowsill and behind the counter a member of staff was sat on the floor watching something on her phone. Unfortunately this is the only shop that stocks the uniform for my daughters high school otherwise I would go elsewhere. Its all young girls working there who have no idea on how to provide good customer service.

Shop assistant did not know where school uniform was. Once found, they did not have the size in so I asked to try on a different school of similar design. Then be told to order online. Shop wasn't busy but there was a lot of staff in.

Extremely poor customer service. Lack of professionalism one would expect of a company providing this service. On no level was this a satisfactory experience. No order delivered as yet from August 2nd, no information provided or emailed to me regarding the delay. No communication what so ever. No answer on the customer services phone number provided. Atrocious. Will never purchase from this company again. No uniform from August 2020 till now, my son waiting for his PE kit paid money but still waiting for kit, one of the worst shop in the town.

Very disappointed. I bought a school jumper online 3 weeks ago, payment has been taken and I have not received it. I've tried to call the shop several times and there is no answer, so what is the point of offering a telephone service if no one picks up and you can't leave a message. I've emailed twice too and keeping getting told the delay is due to COVID-19. I can understand that to a degree but I need the jumper as my son starts school in 2 days. I didn't realise there is another uniform shop that I can go to as this is my first time buying school uniform and the school had directed me to Monkhouse. The specific item I want is actually cheaper in the other shop too. So it is with regret but I will not be using Monkhouse again or recommending it to anyone.

Had to pop in last week to pick up my daughters uniform due to a change of school and had a fantastic experience. Only one assistant in the shop a young man probably early 20’s. Extremely helpful and we were in and out within 10 minutes. One item wasn’t in stock and he gave me a card to order online with free postage.

Shocking customer service and even worse quality of uniforms.Keep taking back orders which they can’t fulfill on time, even after 3 weeks. No reply on the phone and with less than a week before schools re-open no timescale of when the stuff, I’ve ordered and paid for over 3 weeks ago, they will be able to deliver.Schools need to rethink who they award uniform contacts and if the company can fulfill the demands.
