Jym Brown

Out of all of the people I have ever met, Jym Brown has been the only one who figured out how my mind works and how to speak to me to make my doubts and my negatives into positives.His way with words not only motivated me to be better on a basketball court or in the weight room, but also in life.

As a former student, Jym was truly motivational and inspirational. He made us all believe that we could achieve anything we set our mind to and gave us many opportunities to better ourselves. Jym taught us the value of respect and hard work.

As an active member of FSB in the Peterborough area, I was delighted to have the opportunity in early May 2020 to invite Jym Brown to deliver an online presentation 'Self-reflection for self-development' to our local #FSBConnectOnline Networking group that had recently been set up.Jym had originally agreed to present to the local FSB group that met regularly in one of our face-2-face meetings but lockdown stopped those.I was a little anxious as to how the presentation would 'travel' virtually as it seemed to involve a good deal of audience interaction but I needn't have worried. Jym engaged the audience immediately and provided us with an interesting, informative and thought-provoking journey into the benefits of self-reflection using a blend of ancient philosophy, more modern psychology and some anecdotal examples, after which we were left understanding a lot more about the value of actually knowing and understanding who we really are and this then providing a solid base for more personal self development.Personally, I rate Jym very highly as it was a tough ask and out of most peoples 'comfort zone' but I guess Jym practices what he preaches - obviously knows himself and how best to deliver.Would I recommend Jym - yes, without doubt. I look forward to the opportunity to work with Jym again in the future.Summary: Good Speaker - Engaging Presentations - Valuable Content.
