YHA Stratford upon Avon

A place very close to Stratford-upon-Avon, although you have to drive to get there. The rooms are really too small with bunk beds nestled together and stuck with most of the bed ladders. In addition there is a sink in the middle of the room, a toilet on one side and a shower on the other. There is breakfast on site and if desired also a games room, living room and restaurant for lunch and dinner. You can eat outdoors, there is a large lawn and a car park. The building is nice.

Its my 3rd or 4th time here and would come again. A big place with good sized, clean rooms, nice showers, large dining area/bar, decent self catering area and recreation rooms. Also it's one of the few hostels left that still charges what you'd expect.

This was a great hostel, with deluxe glamping pods which I used. We also had dinner there which was lovely, albeit very quiet! The hostel itself is quite a way out from the centre of Stratford but is serviced by a stagecoach bus every hour or two hours on a Sunday. A taxi was about £11-14 from/to train station.

Where to begin? Great price, great location, extremely nice staff. I really enjoyed having the option of both a self-catering kitchen open 24/7 and a restaurant.

Lovely location for a yha. The service is the stand out bit though, staff so friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble.The hostel it's self feels clean and well maintained, comfy beds and a lovely area for walks.We had dinner and breakfast in the attached restaurant, staff again were friendly and helpful, great with kids and made the whole stay very pleasant.We will certainly be visiting lots more yha sites and hopefully get a chance to come back to this one!

It was a nice youth hostel, the beds where a bit shallow, the breakfast was lovely, there is an every hour bus service into Stratford upon Avon, called the 15, and a national trust place near by called cholcalote park, It is really nice youth hostel.

A lovely YHA with extremely friendly and helpful staff, great facilities (including free ping pong!), well stocked bar, and - as usual for YHAs - nice and warm! Didn't get a chance to explore the surrounding areas as much as I wanted but it looked lovely. One thing I'd love to have here (and all YHAs) is a couple of EV chargers, although I can understand why this might be construed as encouraging driving over public transport.

The location is strong. However, the room was very small bit functional. The bed doesn't fit anyone above 5ft 8 as your legs will hang over.The staff are 50/50. Some were lovely and always happy to help, however we found some confrontational and hard to communicate with.One of our party has a severe allergy, as a reult we preordered special food to fit. We were unhappy to find that at breakfast they were only free to eat tomatoes and vegan sausage. We had to cancel our future 4 meals. The simple process of cancelling was met with resistance at giving money back.We then returned for a meal to find most of the food options for vegan and vegetarian diets were unavailable.Overall, the food was disappointing and some of the staff were happy but some ignored us. A slightly underwhelming holiday. 2.5/5.

Stayed overnight to visit Moto GP race at Silverstone circuit. Amazing place. Lovely old building. Clean, functional rooms with comfortable beds. The friendliest staff I've ever come across anywhere I've stayed. Would highly recommend.
