I'm a local person who enjoys everything the Forest Of Dean & Wye Valley has to offer, but i cannot recommend Wye Pursuits highly enough having done majority of things in the Forest Of Dean & Wye Valley but never been canoeing before and what a totally different experience it is Amazing beautiful peaceful and you see such a wide variety of wildlife and plant's you wouldn't otherwise see i will be booking up again very soon thanks again Wye Pursuits for a great day see you soon

OK for just hiring a Kayak or Canoe if you already know what to do. Pre trip briefing not good enough. Lack of clarity on the location of the get out from the road. Equipment good enough but no left handed paddles. Take out was too early before Symonds Yat.The trip down the river was perfect for kids and novices.

Excellent location and service all round. We used our own canoe and equipment from here, just had to pay £5 for a full days parking and even got a free lift upstream. Really helpful and friendly!

Second time we have hired kayaks from here. Friendly, efficient, and got us on the water quickly. Able to port my own kayak back at the end of the trip too, for £10. And a good place to start for a half day paddle, passing a couple of good swimming spots as well.

Very pleasant day out with friends. We hired 3 boats for 4 adults and 4 children for the 3/4 day trip, which worked out just right. River was calm with only couple of places where it got a bit windy and harder to paddle and direct the boats. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, gave us lots of instructions and handy tips. Would go again.

Hired double canoe for family adventure on the river Wye. £90 for 4 or 5 hours Fun for four people including all equipment seems the going rate. Would recommend but best if everyone is swimmer just in case!!
