I recently had the pleasure of working with James, a talented painter and decorator, on a project in Sedbergh. The task was to spray paint custom wooden wardrobe doors for a client, and the result was nothing short of spectacular.Not only did he bring a keen eye for detail and precision to the project, but his craftsmanship truly elevated the end product. So pleased with the work that James and his guys have done for me in Bowness. James has just completed a full interior decoration of our holiday-let cottage (hallway, stairs, landing, bathroom and 3 bedrooms) and the end result is absolutely fantastic. From giving us the initial quote, which he provided very promptly, to starting the prep which was done incredibly thoroughly, he then got straight onto the final painting and wall-papering, which was done to a very high standard and professionally throughout. As we live over 3 hours drive away from the Lake District, James was always very communicative, keeping us fully informed about progress, whether by text, email or direct phone-call, and involved us fully when choices needed to be made. He also took on board shifting the items of furniture that were too bulky or heavy for us to move ourselves, and coordinating and liaising with our joiner, whose input was needed before and during the decorating work, on our behalf. Afterwards the cottage was left very clean and tidy - which was very much appreciated - given the tight deadlines we had before the carpet-fitters arrived, and so our first guests of the new holiday season could enjoy the holidays they already had booked with us. Good workmanship is never cheap these days, but the work James did for us represents, we think, very good value-for-money. So much so we have invited him back without hesitation to do some further external decorating work for us in the summer. Thanks ever-so-much James. Much appreciated.
