Peter Cowen Golf Academy

My first time visiting since the addition of Top Tracer. It’s a great concept but I have to question the yardages. If there’s one thing I’m pretty consistent at on a golf course it’s distance control. I usually hit my 6 iron 190-195 but the stats came back with an average distance of 160!! I think it must be the balls which are pretty poor tbh. Also as others have said the range is limited to 250yds. Not ideal if you want to practice your driver!Will be going back as I bought a card with 500 balls of credit for £38. Which works out at £7.60 per 100. I will evaluate the accuracy and update the review if necessary. I can’t really be playing all the games and challenges on the Top Tracer app if the yardages are nothing like what I usually hit.

Excellent facilities most bays have tracking technology to help improve your game, play virtual rounds at some of the world's best courses. Bar well stocked also for a drink at the 19th

Good facility, now they have toptracer even better but you'd think they would invest in Tee's one mangled tee per bay is shocking, no different heights or anything.

Has everything you need to practice your tee offs as well as a bar to enjoy a drink after.Edit: changed to 5* since adding the screens. Makes a big different to understanding where your game is going wrong

Good range with plenty of bays and will soon be even better when the new flightscope system is set up on all the bays, just hope it won't be too expensive. The staff are friendly too. If I had any negatives it would be the off road into the site is absolutely terrible, full of large holes that could damage your tires if not careful. Not sure who's responsible for it but it really needs sorting out.

Absolutely amazing and beautiful place... For me it's the staff/owners that make a place special, customer service is key. At The Peter Cowen golf academy they are so kind and welcoming it warms my heart (especially the main lady that serves). Just as an added bonus, as I was leaving the cutest dog came out and allowed me to stroke it... I'd give 12 stars if I could on customer service alone.

Best driving range in the area. Great service, good prices and the best equipment.
