I was on a road trip from Walsall down to Lands end last week (31-08-23 = 03-09-23) when on the end of the first day the drive belt on my Harley 883 sportster, snapped in the middle of the country side ( between Linton and Barnstable) so I rang Bridgewater Harley Davidson at approx. 16.30pm to see 1. if they had one and 2. when I could collect it! I was told they did not have one in stock and it would not be here until sometime next week!! I rang a couple of local bike shops and they were just as helpful, so I rang Professor Tom at Shireoak Motorcycle repairs and Performance to see if he could get one and or he could come and collect the bike. He did better than this, by the time I got to speaking with Tom it was 17.10, he said if I could give me an address he would get the belt delivered to me the next day. I had to find and book into a hotel then rang Tom back at 17.20 with the post code, he then ordered it and it was at the Hotel at 8.05 the next morning, UNBELIVABLE, we set about putting the belt on and where on are way by 11.30am. My partner paid £202 for someone to fix whatever was wrong with his bike. They collected the bike, looked it over, and when collecting, nothing was really said about his bike. Was more concerned about THEIR race bike! With in a couple of days of trying to use the bike, it just stopped working! It hasn’t worked since! I rang and complained but they offered to do more checks and that’s all. The paperwork basically says we paid £202 for 3 hours of checking it over, collecting it, wiping a couple of things down and that’s it! Partner has now lost his job because of this and haven’t been able to get the bike to work. WOULDNT RECOMMEND

I took my 1974 Norton Commando to Tom and the boys who work with him to sort out the ignition timing and carburation, the bike now feels like a new machine! I can definitely recommend them.

I phoned lots of motorbike places to work on my aprilia af1 no one would touch it I took it to a 2 stroke specialist who ripped me off.I lost count of motorbike placesThen came across ShireoakNice bunch of lads tels me he can fix me up no problem.They come pick my bike up next day I took the lads some parts to fit on top of there work load and happy to fit took pics of things what are going to give me trouble in coming future to show me .The bike come bk and was passing it down been out on it today its a totally different bike when I get some more funds it be going bk leave it there n let the team do there magicWon't take my bike any were else cost of the job was extremely good value for money well recommended

It's shane once again Tom and Reece and team has made my sons bike safe for the road and fixed everything to his ability derbi gpr racing 50 now Flys and running great and got it done for his 16 bday my son is over the moon A* for this garage there's no1 better than tom and reece

Remapped my 2019 Africa twin DCT. It’s been 3 months now (thought I’d give it a bit of time before reviewing) and I’m over the moon with the results. Up on power and fuel economy but the best thing for me has to be how smooth the power delivery now is. I love this bike even more than I did before. Big thank you to Tom and the lads.

I turned up, not as an experienced or pro rider or even high-value customer. Just a new rookie rider with my little 125 and an old sports bike wanting basic service and a check on my bikes. Tommy and his crew put in as much time, care, advice and reassurance into me and my bikes as one of their high-end pro racing teams. My bikes ride beautifully and I was kept informed of every task, observation and cost, throughout. When you find proper professionals with a passion for their craft that treat every customer with care and respect like this, I will not be taking my machines anywhere else.
