Worst Accomodation after new company took over,,,They never fix Maintanance problems or do anything, the reception staff keep quitting and cleaning lady working there as receptionist who doesn't know anything, and they keep your deposit after moving out even if the room was damaged when you moved in they don't care to fix it, very horrible place staff never answer or help students when need help, if you get locked out you can never get in, and parcels get lost all the time and they keep increasing rent above contract every month they charge as much they want without regards to contract when they want money they will keep bothering you but when you need help with maintenance or something urgent they are never there, And the worst part is that the fire alarm keeps going off almost daily and in the middle of the night when people are trying to sleep and nobody cares to turn it off or call someone, also the beds are very uncomfortable and cheap and keep breaking, worst place I ever lived in, I don't even understand why anyone would move in there there is no security no reception it's very dangerous to live,, anyone can get in the building,,, Avoid avoid like the plague!!!!

During my stay, I noticed that the accommodation was undergoing renovations, which is a positive sign for future guests. I wish these renovations had completed before the 22/23 academic year as they would have enhanced the overall comfort and appeal of the rooms. Nevertheless, it's promising to see that they are investing in improvements for the future.

Nice spacious rooms with good location from city centre however very unprofessional. Have messed me about and left me in the dark many times about prices, move in/out dates and office is never open. Also not very secure and no place to receive parcels.

Terrible service. Staff are barely present and genuinely don't care about tenants despite their claim of being present 5 days a week. Internal issues are barely ever resolved and there is no way of contacting staff if you do have an issue (phones go straight to voicemail and emails result in an unhelpful automated response). Staff promise to solve issues and never get round to it, possibly due to understaffing or lack of competence/ accountability from the project student company. Security is very poor and no front door fob was issued to me on arrival, resulting in getting locked out multiple times without any way of being able to contact staff, which of course is extremely worrying especially for those who have nowhere safe to go if this does happen. My room was not fully furnished on arrival and many inventory items were damaged or missing including door handles, fire door and furniture. Despite moving in on the day of my contract starting the room was extremely dirty and not fit to move into (sawdust and screws on floor, missing various important room items, unfinished painting, etc.). All other tenants I've spoken to have similar issues both regarding unavailability of staff and issues moving in to give merely two examples - one tenant was left without somewhere to stay for 4 days despite his contract already. Reception staff are genuinely incompetent and clueless of what is going on, in addition to being unorganised and impossible to get in contact with, resulting in staff members from the nearby shops (who have no affiliation to the accommodation) to have to resolve issues with fire alarms or locked doors on behalf of the lack of staffing. In the 4 years of studying in the city I've never lived somewhere that's operated as poorly as project student's Step House. This accommodation poses many safety and security issues for it's tenants. If you are thinking of moving here do not under any circumstance!!!

Worst accomodation ever. Please don't consider living here. The amount of problems I've been through living here was so torturous.

My parcel was stolen I got an expensive gift from a relative abroad and I can't find it still, beware of your parcel, there is no security or reception in the building just cleaning the lady comes sometime.

I had a really frustrating experience living in that place. First of all, my room was constantly warm because the hallway heater was always on full blast and never turned off. This made it really uncomfortable, especially considering that the fridge seemed to make the situation even worse. On top of that, the Wi-Fi was incredibly unreliable. It was nearly impossible to get any university work or projects done, and playing games with my friends online was always a problem. They seriously need to upgrade their terrible Wi-Fi system.To make matters worse, there was virtually no security besides a passcode on the door, which felt completely pointless. There was no one available to receive parcels, which created a lot of hassle and worry about whether my packages had been taken by someone else. When I moved into the room, there was still a mess and even some mold. I had to clear out the previous tenant's kitchen stuff, and to my horror, there was mold inside the oven. No matter how much I mopped the floor, it would become sticky again within 12 hours. The floors were incredibly squeaky, adding to the frustration.The worst part was discovering dust and other objects under the bed. I didn't even want to attempt cleaning it because I knew it would make me sick. The TV remote was practically useless, hardly working at all. There were several maintenance issues that needed fixing, but no one ever came to address them. It felt completely pointless to report them.On top of everything, the fire alarm went off in the early hours of the day and stayed on for a mind-numbing 2-3 hours. Even after numerous calls to security, they claimed they would come within 30 minutes, but they never did. During the week, people would go out drinking and be so loud, it was incredibly annoying. It seemed like there was no consideration for others living there.Let me tell you, if you're considering living in that place, I strongly advise against it. Despite how nice the exterior and halls may appear, the rooms themselves are outdated and shockingly disappointing. I'm grateful that I managed to survive my time there, but I honestly can't fathom going back.To make matters even worse, on the day I moved in, I had to endure a three-hour journey, only to find out they hadn't mentioned the need to bring a passport. They had specifically stated that an ID would be enough, so I brought my driver's license, but they insisted it wasn't sufficient. The staff members were friendly, but there was a noticeable lack of organization and communication within the company. Something just didn't feel right about the way things were being handled.In conclusion, it was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. I hope that changes are made to improve the living conditions and overall operation of that company.

DO NOT TAKE THIS ACCOMMODATION, THERE IS 0 MAINTENANCE, 0 SECURITY AND NOBODY THERE ON RECEPTION EVER.
