I am a design graduate student. Here is the real perfection for me. There are no grades for the first semester so we can be fully creative. And I am thankful that I found a definite direction in my life before the end of the whole course.Regarding the negative reviews of this school, I think it depends on your own arrangement. The school will provide enough help and advice. All in all, the professors are nice, they have different personalities and are full of energy. Regarding being rejected without consolation, I think schools deal with a lot of applications, and I know that at top schools, rejections are always brief, including the London College of Art and the Royal College of Art.The strike did not affect the design profession, the teachers were always there and in charge. Also, the dorm management is safe! It's really great and the admin is nice.

This uni is great for arts. Lecturers are friendly, uni has nice surroundings and the facilities that they provide are great as well. This university takes the pandemic very seriously, so I feel safe and welcome. The lectures that uni provides us with (during pandemic) are good quality. I believe there could be added more learning content in the program, but overall everything is good.

1st year. not actually that bad of a uni.some lecturers don't teach fully, they just tell us to watch the recording so they can chat about what they like. strikes are long, but depending on your course you'll have 1on1 office hours and recorded lectures. there's close transport and food.i think the uni is in debt by 3 million, haven't seen where this shows yet.DONT go to loring hill accomodation, hot water breaks regularly, no heating regularly, even the electricity stopped working for some time. the laundrette had a problem once too. live at home if you can.also this uni is left-leaning, but unless you are interacting w/ politics, you don't see or hear anything much regarding left politics.edit, 5 months later: emailing for information is worthless. they just direct you to website page (that you've already read!), it's better to go down to the subject hub to ask in person. Also, the website pages do not tell the whole picture. for example, 3rd resits require taking a whole new year - it doesn't say that on the page. be careful going here, there's no communication and little info

I watched the film 'The NHS Heist's there. The staff were helpful in getting me to the cinema which was well hidden.

The place is very nice but I didn't like the food and the rooms are a bit far away from the university

great campus and lecturers, but utterly terrible organisation. It takes several weeks for anyone from their Computing hub to respond to queries and I ran into several serious issues which could not be solved in a long time because of that.

A great university for the arts. Helping today for setting up for the fine arts degree show in the modern Ben Pimlott facility for final year students. As expected there is a degree of incoordination and last minute panic as nobody is in charge or knows what and when thing are happening. Goldsmiths has a more traditional teaching style similar to Oxbridge colleges of letting the students themselves decide what to do rather than the instructional style of most other institutions resulting in exceptional creativity.

Must go to their open day and ask questions to understand the values and way they teach their subjects, if you want to be creative and produce very contemporary work pieces of art or media then their degree of media and communication may suit you. They do not offer a sandwich course for this degree, not sure about the others

Great university, loved my time doing computer science there. Many great lecturers. My favourite being Mark D’inverno. So enthusiastic and smart

Nice grass area in campus but no good foods surroundings. Some staff are irresponsible during the strike. Some of us received zero refund for the blanked class dates. Some part time teachers evaluated students with bias. Be careful!
