O'Connor Utilities

This company are responsible for the current city road works for city fibre. Their subcontactor connolly uk trespassed on our property and pretty much demolished our front garden wall. We are concerned about how long it will take to get this sorted. I wouldn't reccommend them. City Fibre ironically refer to them as their building in partners - demolition partners would be a more accurate description!!!!

Left a dirty mess. After many messages and phone calls and after I got angry they sent a jet wash team. Thought they would do the full street. They needn't have bothered. They did 10 yards of pavement badly and then disappeared.Shame on the company and their workforce.

Park where they like, overhanging driveway on double yellow lines when there were safe/legal places to park. Leave a trail of devastation behind them. Sit in van for hours, doing nothing. What a shower!

Installing broadband across the area and causing a lot of disruption. Turned up with no warning, no information anywhere on how long the work will be or what they'll be doing. No respect for people or property, leaving residents with no access. Inefficient, badly organised and coordinated. Workers are arrogant, shouting and swearing in a residential area. Shambolic.

As contractors for Yorkshire Electricity, O'connor were laying new pipes. The digger driver was was constantly on jis phone and therefore not concentrating. On the Thursday he went into my neighbours gas supply, leaving this old lady without cooking facilities and hot water until late in the evening. The following day he did the same to my gas supply. At lunch time i mentioned this to the workmen who said someone was coming to reconnect . When they left at teatime, no-one had been. I rang O'connor and informed that i was going out as i had an appointment and would be home at 7pm. I was told that would be passed on to utilities. Half an hour later i had a call from them saying someone was coming. Once again they were told i was out and not returning till 7. When i arrived home at 6.45 the gas fitter had been and put a card through letterbox to say he had been. This service is deplorable with no thought to the public.

I could not get my car out of the drive for 3 days as they had dug up all across the drive & had to go on to next doors drive to walk out because of the barriers around the hole. Our electricity was off for 34 hours. The receptionist at O'Connor was very polite & helpful.

Absolutely disgusting, the disruption was awful. They left rubbish all over for 6 weeks which was eventually moved after work was stopped by Doncaster council

Considering it shows that we had plants on the edge of the property ,no thought given just dumped their soil on top of the alpine border plants.A bit of thought before doing a job might be a great customer experience.

Good staff at Sheffield and Leeds. Rude aggressive local supervisor who thinks it's OK to Tarmac people's drives.

Beware if you see one of there trucks on the road, I've been behind many with unsafe loads in Nottingham that chuck dust/gravel/stones out the back. Extensive damage to front of my car including windscreen. Contacting them via email got an initial response but then heard nothing since, not very helpful. Stay well clear.
