Sefton Park Palm House

Sefton Park Palmhouse is a must visit if you are in Liverpool for the weekend or have lived here all your life and never been. Lovely surroundings with a cafe and gardens. It's a lovely place to while away a few hours reading a book or playing on the giant chess set, or eating a picnic in tbe picnic area on their table and chairs.With regular craft fairs, music and talk events there is always something going on in this important and beautiful building.Toilets are available.

Beautiful place to see, inside cafe very nice, on a hot day was very warm to sit inside, the walk around the palm house is lovely. Sefton Park is one of the best.

This Palm house is small but it's gorgeous! The best part are the volunteers who managed the place: very knowledgeable, welcoming and always there to help us and answer any questions. Beautiful place with beautiful people. The cafe is brilliant and we were so lucky it was sunny we managed to take some lovely photos.Please make a donation, they are doing a wonderful job with this place.

Great venue and beautiful palm house . Cafe located within palm house open most days . Palm house available for hire for wedding's etc. Also has music events on. Set within the groups of Sefton Park which it's self is a beautiful park with play areas, cafes etc,activities for all.Well worth a visit.

Interesting place and history that goes with it, fantastic that it was restored some years ago, it still needs upkeep so we gave a donation as it's free to get in, we must do all that we can to preserve the wonderful historical buildings that we have been left with.

One of the finest buildings on Merseyside, clearly anyone who disagrees is wrong or misguided!In my childhood the Palm House was in a state of decrepit disrepair, so seeing it in 2023 is particularly rewarding. The park more widely seems to be really valued by the community- gone are the days of decay and vandalism. The palm house is the jewel in the setting of the park, with an amazing variety of plants, juxtaposed against the elegant ironwork of the building itself. A great coffee shop in the Palm House too, and really helpful and knowledgeable staff on hand to answer any queries. When I visited the park although it was a rainy day there was a jazz band playing at the bandstand and plenty of people out walking, but the visit would be worth it for the Palm House alone.

such a vast and beautiful park on the outskirts of the city.Easy bus links make the most of the £2 singles whilst they are still around.Could not have picked a better day, whilst the sun shone over Bank Holiday.Plenty to see around the park with many statues and walks throughout.

One of our all time favourite wedding venues!We’ve been lucky enough to be part of many weddings at the palm house over the years with our camper van photo booth and wedding car - Birdie .We are always welcomed with a smile by the wonderful staff who run the events so seamlessly.The palm house is a truly magical place which provides so many stunning and unique backdrops for photographsWe’ve also visited their candle lit concerts which are amazing!
