ref the wearing of poppies on rememberance sunday Rev Jackson should understand that to a brit, refusing to wear a poppy is as disrespectful as an american not standing and placing their hand on their heart when the american anthem is played. as to a democratic right to be insulting to the dead of conflicts, forget it you dont have it in this patriotic and free country, Reverend there is an old saying, when in rome, do as the romans do, May I suggest that to accept you are making a mistake and apologise in the only meaningfull way posible, Proudly wear a RED POPPY on rememberence sundayTHIS IS A DIRECT RESPONSE TO ARTICLES PUBLISHED NATIONALY THAT THE REVEREND JACKSON (A US CITIZEN) CONSIDERED THE WEARING OF A RED POPPY ON REMEMBERANCE DAY TO BE GLORYFING WAR

My church Elim is in partnership with Hadley Methodist church. We have several joint events a year.This church is small, friendly and has lots of events for different ages during the week. The older members of the church are very friendly.Everyone are faithful, committed Christians.
