Theale Golf Club

Have been playing this course on and off over the years and I must say recently it has fast become a great course. The drainage has improved and the course now plays great in the wet. The greens in the last 6 months have been amazing. It looks like there is lots more work taking place with upgraded tee boxes. White tee’s not for the faint hearted with narrow openings. I see great things to come from the course improvements. Very friendly staff!

Took good friend for 18 holes he shot 4 under his h/c he was absolutely delighted.course and greens where excellent he is serious about joining I am moving away so can't reciprocate trebor

I play with a Theale Golf club member every 4 to 5 weeks.The course has been in very good condition during the last eight months.Well done to the whole team

I played the first 9 at Theale today, it was very good. Some lovely driving holes and ditches placed insurprising places which challenged me. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful.

Played the course for the first time this morning. Must say we were pleasantly surprised how good the course was. A good variety of different challenging holes. Round in less than 3 hours 30 minutes. Will play again. And decent food in the club house

We held my Father-in-laws wake at Theale golf club yesterday.The function room was perfect everyone commented on how nice it was. The food was very good and staff were very friendly and welcoming. If it were possible to give more stars I would.

Great course with friendly members and staff.Extensive works over the winter now making the course look and play to a very high standard.Such a pleasure to be a member.

The ideal venue for my wife's surprise birthday party,Theale Golf Club's adjoining rooms allowed our guests to dance and listen to the excellent music provided by Mythicals, in one room whilst those wishing to catch up were able to sit and chat in the adjacent bar whilst still listening to the music.Our guests, many of whom were themselves musicians from Watership Brass, commented on the quality and variety of music by Mythicals, a 6 piece locally based band. and all said that Theale golf club was the ideal party venue.A few weeks before the event, I met Heather, from Theale Golf Club, and Sarah, Mythicals singer, at the club to plan the evening, which ran like clockwork on the night.

Excellent course with plenty to offer and challenge even experienced golfers. Wonderful clubhouse that has a great selection of food and drinks.

I like Theale.The course has had a lot of work done on it and undoubtedly there are bits that still could be improved.I like the club house and the general friendly vibe you get when visiting.It also has a good driving range that is open to visitors.Lessons / Coaching etc available .
