Good selection, they used have good brands but unfortunately you don’t see them now.

Tried to donate 2 beautiful expensive leather sofas sent pictures over 1st said they wanted them, they sent 2 old fellas to pick up who then decided the shop would not want them due to them being cream, the drivers told me they are extremely picky at sue ryder about donations, and for me to be giving £4000 worth of sofas not even 3 years old and them to their your nose up is disgraceful behaviour, i will NEVER donate to this charity again, You are a charity shop for god sake not john lewis be thankful for all you get FOR FREE.,

Appaling attitude and service by this 'charity'. We brought two bags in and a massive plush toy, all 4/5 or 5/5 or brand new condition. I'm walking down, smiling, trying to make eye contact and ask if we can leave the stuff. Not even half way through builduing lady starts rushing towards my wife (who was behind me) and shout 'WE ONLY TAKE TWO BAGS ON SUNDAY!!', and then proceeds to look at the stuff. 'We don't take this, don't take that' -But it's brand new! My wife says. Oh, okay.NOPE. Too late. Don't treat people like they are bringing you bags of used dipers. What's wrong with you? I bet you'd only like brand new stuff, so you can sell with massive profit, give measly % to charity and pocket the rest, ey? Not a chance. To skip it goes then. Oh, and guess what? Reuse Leeds took it in with thanks! How dare you call yourself a charity? More of a pawn shop, and a shady one!Sue Ryder? More like Scam Ryder.

Not often I feel compelled to review things on Google, or anywhere for that matter. The staff in this shop are staggeringly rude for a charity that relies on people's generosity.I've been in a couple of times. The location is convenient and has parking close to the door. Each time I've found the staff to be abrupt and frankly a bit ungreatful, but hey. It's not their business so why should they say 'thank you'.Unfortunately, however, I followed a very polite couple in the other day who held the door for me (I had a heavy box). I'm not sure if they were in a rush or just put off by the unfriendly tones of the staff, but they left rather quickly... cue snarky comments from the staff about gift aid. I don't really think it reflects well on the charity that they badmouth donors. That said. I'm sure the charity do excellent work and a few bad eggs shouldn't spoil the good work of an organisation.

It has friendly staff and a wide range of keenly priced goods. Also it helps to fund an excellent cause.

Disgusted with poor service, first from staff when I bought a sofa, second the ridiculous £30 delivery to 3 mins down the road and finally the fact even tho I told them I would be out between 11:20 and 12:30 due to hospital appt twice as I phoned today as not heard from delivery people they said don't worry they will contact you with a time slot. Well guess what, due tomorrow, no time slot given. Total rip off delivery for the £30 paid so if it comes whilst I am out it is nobodies fault but Sue Ryder's. First and last time I will ever use this Charity which is a shame.
