We visit this marvellous museum every time we are in the area.Crammed full of artifacts and history, a really interesting place and can easily spend hours here reading the history of each artifact and still not really scratch the surfaceHighly recommended, a fantastic ambiance and lovely staff.

Fantastic volunteer run museum, lots of things to see in a reasonably sized building(s), interesting to hear about each piece and the local area and the women's land army.Lovely little cafe however only serves cake, crisps, tea, coffee and soft drinks.

1940's weekend event was absolutely brilliant, small venue but kept us there for 4.5 hours, people were really lovely and very passionate and informative about what they do, heads up to the lovely lady demonstarting cooking from the era.She was brilliant.Exhibition was really good, so much to read, for any WW2 enthusiast this is a must.Vintage tearoom was perfect and I look forward to returning to drink from a China cup and saucer!

Amazing. Staff are wonderful. Way wayyyyy bigger than it looks. So much stuff to look at it’s impossible to see all. Such a hidden gem. No reservation needed just rock up. Only open weekends + Monday in school holidays

This is a lovely volunteer-run museum. There are many more exhibits than you would think. It's very eclectic but everythingis well labeled so you know what you are looking at - and anyway the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.Do not leave without visiting The Dispersal Hut Café. It's a simpley delightful evocation of a 1940s dispersal hut and the enthusiasm of the two volunteers who run it is infectious

Visited while on holiday at romney sands to celebrate my farther in laws 80th birthday took him here and he had a fasntix day looking at all the engines that had been found etc. The planes and the history in such a small building absolute fantastic and well worth a visit when your in the area.Definite needs to create flyers for the local area so while on holiday you know about this place we found it by accident while driving around looking for stuff too do.One place I would visit again. Staff were very helpful and very friendly. Even took the time to explain a few bits to us.Tha k you

Great little museum with very interesting artifacts on display. There's a tea room as well, which can be accessed separately.
