(Posting on behalf of my sister due to her review not showing…)RUINED MY GRADUATION DAYI had an appointment on the morning of the 18th (which I double checked at the time of booking) to have my hair washed and styled for my graduation later that afternoon. I arrived on time, to find all the shutters down and nobody there. After standing around for a while in case they were running late, and after trying multiple times to get through on the phone but with no answer, I had to leave to stop myself being made any later than I had been made already. I had came from my home city for graduation and so was left in tears in the street desperately trying to ring every other hairdressers in Nottingham in an attempt to find somewhere that could squeeze me in. Being such short notice, nobody could, and I had to go to my graduation day, with unwashed, unstyled hair whilst everyone else there looked wonderful. I spent the whole day incredibly embarrassed and self conscious by my appearance and it really did ruin the day which was meant to be such a special occasional. You would’ve thought that after seeing all my missed calls they would ring back and apologise but I’ve heard nothing! Even if they did, it would not make up for how I was left feeling on what was meant to be a huge day of celebration of my achievements. Warning to everyone else, especially those who want their hair doing for a special occasion, just because you have an appointment here does not necessarily mean you will be getting your hair done!Further update: I have since contacted them via their website in an attempt to get some sort of explanation and apology, I did miss one phonecall back due to being at work but they again would not pick up the phone when I attempted to ring back, even on a different number. Despite leaving them my phone number and email address, no further effort was made to contact me, whether that be a phonecall, voicemail, text or email, showing they really do not care about the upset they caused. Should be ashamed of themselves.As a reply to below: The appointment was definitely made since as I said, it was double checked at the time of booking. If it was lost then this must be an error on your part I’m afraid. I’m unsure why you have no record of me ringing, and am also unsure how you can say that if you don’t have my phone number from my booking? I don’t wish to contact you to discuss this any further thank you as there’s unfortunately no more that can be done at this point now you’re aware of the situation. Thank you

I had an amazing experience at Vida and Omid's! The offer of free eyebrow threading/wax with a haircut was perfect for me - needed to kill 2 birds with one stone, and the availability of their appointments fit right into my schedule. I've never sat in a chair that's massaged my back whilst getting my hair washed before so that was an added bonus! Both Vida and Omid are super friendly, and I'll definitely be visiting again!

So glad that I tried them for my eyebrow threading; the lady is amazing, and now I wouldn't go anywhere else! Unlike other places that want to get you out as soon as possible without much care or attention, and don't give much thought to the shape, she takes pride in her role and gives you the time required to get you the best brows possible, with such attention to detail. Plus they are really friendly and I love the stylish chair. Have already recommended to friends who were also very impressed.
