Friendly people who work here and ok prices for a corner shop

The strategic location of this shop makes it a great place to get quick booze at odd times if you don't want to make the 15 minutes walk to a pub in Broad Street.I was formerly living along Waterworks/Harold road and found it really easy to buy things here. A big plus is that it's cheaper than high street shops.And even when closed late at night, you can walk up to the main road at the junction (Hagley road), and would see a 24-hour shop where you could also buy drinks.

Great owner, usually good supply of items but my God - do u get followed around by their worker. Soon as u pick an item to buy it, as he was already watching you - he comes out the back with exact item sticking it before you had time to properly turn around and walk away. Admire his work commitment but creepy AF. Small sized shop, offers lottery, scratch cards, bus passes, pay point, cigarettes, alcohol and vape stuff. Few fresh veggies and fruit, sandwiches and buns. Small ATM inside that charges 99p currently to withdraw (as of Jan 2021). Parking outside but spaces are minimal due to access, temp traffic lights and double yellows. It’s also on a one way road so plan properly if driving. Directly next to a Royal Mail sorting office so they do tend to take those few spaces depending on the time of day. On the other side is a chippy and a grocery store. Prices are ok, nothing steep. Used to be open till 10pm but I think it’s 9pm since lockdown. Please check.
